Guys, do you have a forum dedicated to nba 2K7 else where ?

Or can I ask you some questions :

Is there a way to modified cameras angle, zoom, height in 2k7 ?
These options seem N/A...

Are the ratings realistic in this game or do you think there are some players underrated or overrated ?

Thanks anyone !

seems like the ratings are a little outdated. Glenn robinson and Latrell Sprewell are rated like they're still in their peak condition. also, Brian cook has a higher 3 pt rating than Arenas.

New York Knicks Association, Year 2(2007-2008)

starters:
S.Marbury, PG
J.Crawford, SG
Q.Richardson, SF
C.Frye, PF
E.Curry, C

bench:
S.Francis, SG/PG
N.Robinson, PG
J.Jeffries, SG/SF
D.Lee, PF
R.Balkman, SF
J.Noah, C/PF
C.Landry, SF/PF

reserves:
M.Rose, PF/C
J.James, C

After Year 1, the only player whose contract expired was Kelvin Cato's. I dropped him, and grabbed Florida's Joakim Noah & Purdue's Carl Landry in the draft. What I like about this team is its quickness, and players who can play multiple positions. Knicks are definitely a contender(in 2K7, anyway). :)

Are there any patches available to update the rosters and the ratings ?

(XBOX360 LIVE, Memory cards already loaded, tutorials to follow...?)

And is there a dedicated site with a forum like for the NBA live series ?

Thx again !

360gamesaves.com usually has a couple rosters but I get my 2k stuff from operationsports.com you have to join the forums to get to the NBA 2k7 forum.
Opinions are my own.

Once I get some money Im most likely going to buy this game for the Treystation. With the playoffs happening and my PS3 just sitting there it's too hard to go back to my glitchy NBA 2k7 on PS2.

So does anybody have a PS3 here? And if anyone does can you tell me whether or not that update for NBA 2k7 that they had awhile back was for the PS3 too? Because from the sounds of it the update fixed alot of things that I always found weird about NBA games (fastbreak, stamina etc.). And just in case people get confused I'm NOT talking about roster updates.

well the ps3 version of the game was released later than the 360 version so I think the 360 patch was made to match it up with the ps3 version. my ps id is qb1120 and I play online almost everyday so maybe i'll see you on there. the differences are obvious especially with the extra free throw releases in the ps3 version.

oh and don't play anyone with less than 85% rating because people like to do full court press and cheap shit like that

ic thanks Qballer. Finally got a decent paying job so I'll probably get the game next week. btw do you play alot of Resistance? Only game I got right now (besides Oblivion, i rented it and havent taken in back in over a month)

One more question, in the PS2 version of 2k7 the online release times and offline release times are WAY different. To the point that if I play online for a couple hours, then go back to offline I won't be able to make any shot for at least 1/2 hour. Is the PS3 version like that too? Or are the release times both the same offline and online?

yes. resistance is the only other game i have so i play it quite a bit as well.

and online mode seems a little slower to me. making free throws is completely different as in the offline mode you have to do the tilting motion a lot faster. offline games seem a little faster as well. I try to stick to online gameplay because it gets kind of boring playing my roommate offline. we usually just take turns playing online.

PLease,

Is there a way to modified cameras angles, height, zoom... ?

All of this options seem to be N/A in game...

Thanks for answering.

And by the way, what are the advantages to go online for 2k7 ? (rosters, bonus....?)

Please, nobody has answer this for now 1 month...
So, if anyone knows, it would be very apperciated.

Thanks.

Does the Xbox 360 have the signature style of Mutombo finger-wagging after blocks? I don't think it does, so they should put that in 2K8.

And I just played a couple of games of NBA Jam on my old SMS...ah, good times.

ok, once I've downloaded the rosters from 360gamesaves.com (wich I can't find  ), how do I transfer it to my XBOX 360 ?

Thx.

Besides, I played with a friend of mine, and we played ORL@LAL and CHI@NJN  Vince Carter scored 47pts, and Kobe 50 pts....!

Are they overrated ??
I know Kobe and VC can score like 60 to 81 pts, but, I don't want it to happened too often...

Can you assure me that if you set a tight D on those players, you can prevent them them from scoring like 40 pts ?

Can't you link your computer to an Xbox 360 and transfer it onto the hard-drive where all the 2K7 saves are, then somehow load it?

there are a couple ways to do it. One is buying the datel transfer kit which plugs the 360 memory card into your computer. The other is buying the XSata (this is what I have) which goes between your harddrive in the 360 and the 360 itsself. When you want to use it you plug in a USB cable in the back and plug it into your computer. Both of those you can buy at EBGames.
Opinions are my own.

WOW !!!!

Thanks !
I'll be checking for it. Never heard of that !

Just one question, what do you think of the ratings in this game ?
Is there some players over, or under rated ?
Big changes needed ?
Or this game could be played without changing a single thing (except the roster update).

If you think of some changes that you made, can you give me a quick review please ?

That would really help.
Thank you in advance.

its a fun game, but I play Live 07 (PC) more than I play that one. I got the roster update from operationsports.com they have sliders and other junk there as well. They changed most of the ratings and did player accessory updates and other stuff.

It's a really good game though.

Can anyone reccommend someone who'd be a poor mans Jason Kidd on this game? I want someone who can play that kind of role (triple double threat every game), but i cant get Kidd as i already have Duncan, so ill be stacked.. At the moment i'm leaning towards Sam Cassell..

Also, can some one give me tips on effectively using big men? When ever i use Shaq, Amare or Duncan, i can never score with them.. When i feed them, they often come out to the 3 point line to recieve the ball, or cant back down the defender.. Its shitting me tremendously at the moment, almost as much as not being able to get to the ring (which i'd also like some pointers on!)

Yeah, in my Blazers Association, Magloire would score about 12 PPG when I sim it, but I would only score about 4 when playing.

I would recommend changing your sliders. I noticed that it was more of a necessity to use my big men on higher difficulty on higher difficulty also. My only tip would be trying to master the 2 pass buttons and get it to your big men. As for getting to the ring in the first place, use a fast player (i.e. your PG or a fast SG) and try to run around the D and get under the basket a la Nash. That works for me alright.

Poor man's Kidd... this is hard. I tend to get 60% of my rebounds from my C... I have no idea.
