problem with all star weekend

i have a problem my game crashes when I try to play the dunk contest and 3 point shootout..
does anyone know what is wrong or how to fix it?

Which patches do you have installed (particularly any relating to the All-Star teams and players)? Have you edited a dbf file recently?

nope havent installed anything related to the teams or dbf editing

Reinstall the game...if doesnt work again, your game is messed up, return it.

I figured out that I needed to install the latest driver
