install of game

im runing amost everything from vista now, but because some of the editing tools are not vista able, i gone back the xp side of system and doing my editing jerseys from there, but to test them i reinstalled my 07 version of the game and single disk(game) the install went as it should have and left it the dvd unitl installed it with, but when i went ot play it so it would create the files for my documents, it comes up with an error saying:

plese insert the correct dvd-rom, select ok and restart app.

what do i need to do.

addiotional its not the disk itself, as ive made sure it works in vista..

update i even used regedit and taken it out ans re-installed it, but continue to not run in xp, but as i said it runs in vista just fine. ifi could do my editing of jersey's entirely in xp then this wouldn't be an issue.

the reason is if your aware of it is some the tools used to the editing doest work in vista and one of the tools icould use doest fuction completly, but works some in vista and the other doest work period in vista. there duffin and fshxtools.

so i need the game to run in xp 07 to test my work, so i don't half to restart my system all the time.

any help info on this
