i know..that's why i don't release it...it doesn't melt my heart seeing somebody re-releasing my beautiful work, which took hours to make, named as "somebody's genuine patch", where all genuinity comes from renaming/copying files.
and when i prove that patch is mine, only thing i get is "i'm sorry"...and i'm not the only one who stopped patching for THAT PARTICULAR REASON....

I remember when he started this thread, he told everyone if he got enough feedback; then he would release the patches.

You got some good stuff here UltraNIX, by far the best ball patches I've seen for live07, and your scoreboard is quite nice as well are your CFs (which I believe are used in some of the retro rosters?)

I would like to see a release so we can put them in our game

at the time i started this thread,none of the rip-off cases were open. but after making some faces and scoreboard everybody noticed several rip-offs on jimmy's, glen's and p-dub's patches. and i'm 99% sure that somebody making fiba/molten/euroleague/whatever ball would actually use my ball texture as a base...as well as my box-style scoreboard, which is still very popular overseas...so why bother making alignments by themselves, when some UltraNIX has made a perfect job so far, so rip it? those, who haven't been ripped off will never understand me anyway..you may ask, is this such a big deal? yes, so far it is...for those, who have never spent hours on making a patch may not answer the latter question..you haven't got enough competence for that...and i am very sorry for those who are disappointed...

as for retros..i already gave my permission to use those retros if anybody makes retro roster...and guess what? nobody contacted me...i don't have enough time to make faces AND ROSTERS. and if nobody cared to make the rosters, then those legends would be dead in my HDD..i may, however, probably, pass some of those unreleased works for my friends out there...but they already granted to use those patches for their personal usage and not to release anywhere.

There isn't a rule that the patchers need to release their stuff,they do this on their own free time,spend hours on it and in the end its their decision if they gonna release it to the public.They make YOUR game better and what do you do .. well for starters some try to force the patcher to make more .. some like many said steal their work and they get a " i'm sorry i wont do it again line " next week you see the same poster stealing someone else's patch and re-releasing it.Many of you probably weren't around back then,but we had problems when users stole 05 patches converted them without permission and released it as their own as an 06 patch. I understand UltraNIX and his decision.maybe some of you would be better of trying to show some respect for the decision a particular patcher makes .

Also sorry for the rant,I just had to give my two cents on it .

Furthermore, you're tip-toeing a fine line here, so I suggest stepping back a bit, as the last several dozen of the posts I've read of yours have been awful demanding of some of the patchers around here, as well as rude.
