v1.06 released...

Postby Andrew on Sun Apr 22, 2007 9:20 pm

Welcome to the official support thread for v1.06 of the NBA Live 07 Current Roster Update.

Andrew wrote:A new version of the NLSC Current Roster Update (v1.06) is ready to download here. The update contains final rosters for all lottery bound teams with up to date lineups for the eight teams that played on the first day of the Playoffs and projected lineups for the remaining teams.

Key features of v1.06:
- 2006/2007 Playoff Rosters (accurate as of 21/04/07)
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Fatigue ratings updated for better substitution patterns
- Cyberfaces for all newly added players
- Portraits for all newly added players
- Some player heights and weights corrected

I expect I'll have a couple more updated through the Playoffs as there's a couple of other things I'd like to add as well as keeping the lineups up to date. I'm also hoping to continue the updates through the offseason this year. In any event, right now I anticipate v1.06 will not be my last update for NBA Live 07.

So, if you have any suggestions or corrections, keep them coming. :)

Absolutely, though it will overwrite all existing cyberface files in the sgsm folder. It may not also work properly with some custom AIACT files since the dunk packages in the NLSC update are based on the default AIACT file.

Plus there will be some double accessories, for example Vince Carter having a generic sleeve over the new detailed added sleeve in the fsh-file.

Ah yes, that too. Aside from that there shouldn't be any issues.

Andrew, you said that some cyberfaces will be overwritten if we install the v1.06 and also if you have the SUM installed. What if you first install the roster then the SUM will the cyberfaces from the roster will be overwritten? If you load the roster will the cyberfaces from the roster will comeback?

Sorry about that, I've missed them when I was doing the Uninjured version. Here's a suggested Uninjured lineup:

C: Etan Thomas
PF: Antawn Jamison
SF: Caron Butler
SG: DeShawn Stevenson
PG: Gilbert Arenas
6: Jarvis Hayes
7: Antonio Daniels
8: Brendan Haywood
9: Darius Songaila
10: Michael Ruffin
11: Andray Blatche
12: Calvin Booth
IR1: Roger Mason
IR2: Mike Hall
IR3: Donell Taylor

If you install the roster then reinstall the faces from the SUM, you'll be able to use the faces included in the SUM instead.

Le_Marcus: Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Just a suggestion, maybe you could just create a roster 1.06a or something adjusting the uninjured roster for the wizards and increasing the all-stars stamina to 60 or something. Anyway great rosters Andrew! (Y)

I might end up releasing v1.07 a bit earlier than usual but I probably won't release any updates in between then, sorry.

You should be able to use both (though you probably can't run them both at the same time) but if you started a Dynasty with v1.04 (or later) you don't need to worry about the Fatigue Fix anyway. That was just an update for people who had started Dynasty games with v1.03 (or earlier) of the rosters.

I've double checked and that shouldn't happen. Try reloading a fresh copy of the roster update.

aich: The only way for the substitutions to work properly is to install the official update.
