In NBA Jam 2000, the best basketball game ever made, it was the Utah Jazz PA announcer.

Al Murdock has been the PA announcer since NBA Live 97.

he says "Randy Roy" sometimes instead of "Brandon Roy"

That sounds like more of an issue with the sound quality. It seems unlikely that a recording was made with the incorrect name and even if he did flub a reading, I doubt they would have used that take.

Does he PA announce for any teams? I think NBA Live needs to get Lawrence Tanter.

I believe he used to be the PA Announcer for the Grizzlies when they were in Vancouver.

Yeah when the game starts introducing players u can barely hear the announcements
lame in Maddden you hear the announcer in stadium clear and as in NHL very clear.

ive also had a similar problem with the font being unclear so its hard to tell what player you're using if its someone who's not easily recognizable.

my guy calls Rasual Butler "Brian Cardinal"

I believe there's still a bug in online play that results in players being called by the wrong names. I've yet to encounter it in CPU games myself.
