um . . . I know what your talking about. There is probably a problem with the stat evaluation, and the engine determined MVP is valuing a big man specific stats. (like reb. and blocks.) more than guard specialties, (assists, steals).

That's definitely something I'd like to change if I knew how.

the steals are not that bad, but no body ever agverages more than 7.5 assissts, when the big men always average over 10 rebounds. it is not fair

I know that, I mean that maybe the game values rebounds more than assists when calculating MVP.

So 1 rebound = 2 assists.

Basically, the stats engine and awards/All-Star selections often leave something to be desired, thus we often get strange results which often see our own players snubbed.

Using a primacy fix atleast once a week in your dynasty(like the primacy.bat file in Andrew's roster) can even out the stats. In my dynasty, Ben Gordon is leading hte league with 25+ and Kobe is right behind him. Jermaine Oneal is leading the MVP race with Amare, KG, AI, and Lebron as the other candidates.

Good to know it works as intended. :) The stats engine is still pretty sketchy though, especially scoring averages for bench players. I've found that ensuring they have a good Primacy rating does help but the results aren't always perfect.

when i had a dynasty i had gilbert arenas and bosh on the same team, my team won the championship and gilbert was the mvp he was the league leader in scoring with i think 26ppg, leaded the league in assists with like around 8, leaded the league in steals with like 3 a game, and also leaded the league in 3 pointers made and attempted.
and bosh was like 5th in scoring and on the top rebounders list as well, so i guess u just have to give'em better stats by playing well with them, because the assists/points/steals were a result of my playing, but i often get lazy and out of the 82 games i probably only played 10 of 'em so the rest of it was simmed, so idk, sometimes when im playing there seems to be a consistency of play in sims if you play that way constently.
