I can't take it anymore, please help.

Tue Apr 03, 2007 5:00 am

Until now, I was trying to find the solution by myself, but I've done so much things and none of them helped.

The problem is, I can't play NBA LIVE games, everytime game crashes, appears "send error report" and "don't send" table, or even sometimes PC restarts during gameplay. When I'm in menus, it's fine, but when it comes to play a game, I never finish it.

I tried everything that I heard, installed official patch, compatibility, reinstalled game(even windows) and much more, but nothing helps, I'm sooo frustrated and I don't know what to do else. Please help anybody. Other games works good, like Call of Duty 2.

My system specs are:

AMD Athlon 2.14GHz, 512MB of RAM
GeForce FX 5500 256MB
And yes I have the latest versions of DirectX and video/sound drivers.

If anybody have any thoughts, please share it.

Hmm what vid driver are you currently using? Does the error start after you update your driver? Maybe try to revert back to your old driver and see if it works.

I made a mistake it's 93.71 not 93.17. And now I'm trying something with older drivers.

Hmm, lets see, Try uninstalling the game and if you know how to delete Nba Live's registry info try to delete that too.

Or how about trying this:

Uninstall Live
Delete the whole Live folder
Restart your comp
Install Live in diff folder( if you have diff partition or drive, try to install Live to other drive.)
Restart Comp again

First place your video card is crap FX series just came out after the MX series
u need an upgrade on your video card when that card was originally made games made in 2003-04 were ok but newer games need faster fraps speed and that grandpa card cant keep up.

Also AMD is crap its like an celeron cpu cheap and not fast like an 3.04 GHZ PENT 4

1GB MEMORY Windows uses over 256 mb of memory to run windows
not to mention all the extra stuff not turned offf which drains the memory
your cpu cant process teh necessary speed to make it smooth

I suggest an upgrade

PENT 4 3.0 GHZ
1 GB DDR 2
MAXTOR 80 GB OR HIGHER HARD DRIVE

Also go to c drive.....documents and settings....user name...local settings
temp folder delete....temp internet files delete and restart
usually ahs alot of stuff left over from any previous installation

also de-frag hard drive before reinstalling

clean disk up

spyware

Yes maybe my computer are too old a little, but I was able to play NBA Live 07 before without any problems, and I can play other games as well, just can't play NBA Live. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I'm having the exact same problem. It worked fine for 6 months, but just stopped working yesterday.

It started after I tried to install some of Looser's courts. I already added the Sixers, Nets and a couple others a few months ago with no problem. I also added the NBC scoreboard and a higher textured ball (both from the same thread)

After I put them in the game, everything started to lag. The game loading time doubled, the menus started lagging and the game was nearly unplayable because it stuttered like crazy. I couldn't even quit because it would quit to the desktop with the same error as Joker.

Others in Looser's thread had the same problems after trying to install some of his patches, so I took out everything (including the TNT conversion) just to be sure, but that didn't work. I just deleted everything from the NBA Live 07 main game folder and re-installed. That didn't work. However, the 2nd time I tried the fresh install everything was back to normal and the game was playable and nothing lagged. Then I closed it and re-opened it and everything lagged again.

Anyone know of ANYTHING that could've caused this? Why the hell would it just stop working out of nowhere?

SPECS:
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 2.2 GHz
1.5 GB PC2700 DDR SDRAM
nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 MB[/b]
