yeah when i take areans out, I slide Daniels to the PG and Hayes at SG. Then I'm forced to bring Blatche at the SF. He's really not that bad. Decent inside game.

Ive started playing a little side dynasty atm with the Hornets. (my Wizards already won 3 championships) i got a good lineup right now looks something like this

PG - Paul/ Jackson/ Pargo
SG - Mobley/ Brown
SF - Gerald Wallace/ Butler/Bass
PF - West/ Cimmons
C - Chandler/ Armstrong/ Jackson

Trades i made
Sojakovic + 2008 2nd rounder for Gerald Wallace
Desmond Mason + Linton Johnson (created) for Cuttino Mobley

Im loving the team and Paul and Wallace are a great team.

The patch is out finally. Breaks run alot better, I've actually had a solo fast break before. Big men don't catch up to guards like in NBA Live anymore. Also sliders don't reset in Association mode after you do development drills.

there's a patch for gameplay?? same place you get roster updates?

No, it should prompt you as soon as you boot the game that new content is available for download for the game, then ask you if you want to download it now, just like any other game does.

The patch certainly has made Association better to play now.
I gave up on the idea of doing the league... there is WAAAAAAY too much cheesing going on in this game.

It is fun, though, when i beat a guy with spurs style basketball while he's running around trying to steal everything and i just pump fake and take mid range j's.

When I signed up for Xbox Live & loaded 2k7, it upgraded my copy of 2k7 with a patch. Am I correct in assuming that the patch has automatically loaded into the system or do I need to download it separately, as you do with a roster patch?

also to anyone, my Xbox Live gamertag is FightingIrishX for anyone who wants a game of nba2k7....could be an easy victory for you as haven't played the game in a month & I'm by no means a master....just an average player as was used to Live games....

Is there anyway in 2K7 to look at MVP candidates like in NBA Live when in association mode?

maybe, on my ps3 in association mode half way through the season theres something called award races and tells you who is most likely to win the awards (mvp, six man, etc...)

After the second month there is the Award Race thing that shows you the top 5 candidates for MVP, Sixth Man, Defensive Player of the Year, ROY, etc., I'm pretty sure thats for all versions.

Anyways I dont realy know what this means for the 2k games but I guess EA is most likely going to buy out take two, or something like that. Hopefully 2k8 doesnt turn into some kinda Live 2k8 combination from hell.

just finished my first online game, or should I say, first half of a game....the guy I was playing was using Pistons & just doing the usual dunk or shoot the 3 with Billups or Hunter, but once I started to get my Jazz to man up better on him on perimeter & defend the goal, I took the lead, then he immediately quit the game....what is with that?!? is this a common occurrence?!? because if it is, then I can't be bothered playing online against people if they're just going to quit because it isn't going their way....I couldn't give a shit if I win or lose, but I at least want to play the whole game....Maybe a league would be a better go for me, or just games against NLSC-ers & others that I know....

anyone else had these problems?!?

The first game I played online the guy quit. Second game was against a guy who kept cherry picking with Nash and really pissed me off. The next two games the guys played clean, good games. Every game went right down to the wire until I screwed up and turned the ball over or blew my free throws. So far I'm a respectful 0-4. :oops:

If anyone wants to add me my gamertag is RyanP81. I don't totally suck at the game, but I'm still getting used to the buttons and game play after so many years of Live, so if you can deal with alot of swearing add me. :lol:

And i just got xsata. Where can I get the "best" roster updates for 2k7?

best advice would be to refuse to play anyone with under an 80-85% "2krating". that means they don't play cheap for the most part.

i am playing my accociation and i've just won a championship. i have played 5 games and is wondering to trade dwayne wade. dwayne's good and all, i just want someone who has not won a championship yet (Lebron James, T-Mac, VC, etc...) but everyone is gettin paid a hell of a lot more then wade (VC = $18 million, T-Mac = 22.5 $million and wade = $4.5 million) and all i can get is CARMELO ANTHONY. Should i trade him or not?

EDIT: I decided to sign a guy for $1 million and traded him and Dwayne Wade for Lebron James.

I have a question for all of you....

Assuming that most of y'all are NBA Live fans, some die hard and some just seem to have enjoyed it in the past......did y'all really switch over easily from Live to 2k???

I bought 2K7, and it's the first time I have EVER bought a non EA NBA Game without buying the EA one too. I don't know how, but in 97, I had Live, Shootout, and In the zone for PS1, and played them almost equally. However...even though I've had 2K7 for a while, I still don't think I like the gameplay more than Live 06. The only reasons I still prefer it is because of the rosters, dynasty mode and because you can import rookies. But gameplay wise, how do y'all prefer 2K7? They shoot way too slow, the game has a slippery feel, the crossovers aren't nearly as good, they shoot very weird shots sometimes even when you don't want to shoot, the ball floats in the air very slow, and the overall feel just isn't as good as the Lives have been to me.

ok this game is frustrating me to the max. they continously miss lay ups, easy ones where the commentator says oh thats a once in a year miss and the hit like 30% of layups its riduclous and yet the other team hits every single shot its driving me nuts. and the amount of fouls can not be normal. if any one has sliders that they are using that run the game realistically please, please post them or at least tell me where to find them. i cant post at 2ksports cause they wont let me register, some bull about already having my email there and yet when i say send my password to my email nothing happens. ARGH! sorry kinda stressed. its hot here in australia too so the heat prob doesnt help. cheers for some help
