JaoSming, can u put between the legs dunk during gameplay specially for alleyoop?
is it possible? how about off the glass alley oop like the one from last year's allstar game when kobe alley ooped tmac off the glass...

Crappy, This is going to be a 'realistic' street mod (where people dont get tired, and there are still fouls :roll: ) Fatigue is turned off because there are only 5 players to a team and fouls cant be turned off because if a very interesting EA gltich (if you want to test it out, goto the gameplay sliders, select custom instead of NBA LIVE 07, and put all foul freq sliders to 0. Then try to do a layup or a dunk over someone.) All I was doing in this video was showing the different animations that may or may not make it into the final version. I was just looking for which ones looked good or bad. I'm going to try and make it so that little flip can only be done near the basket while the 'scoop' alley oop pass is for beyond the three point line.

and for bonbondotkom..RIP It is impossible to use animations from the dunk contest in the normal game. I tried first with the various lobs as passes then with some of the dunks. It just wont happen.



Today after class and before work I hope to get a 'final' alleyoop pass AIACT. Then I'm going to work on changing the dunks for the alleyoop.

and then

changing all the passing animations, change some of the shooting styles (im thinking the post player shot), and then the regular dunks and layups.


My final conclusion with FSS is that it can not be completely removed. Yes I can DBF edit it out, but if you goto edit player then the player gets his FSS abilities back. So FSS will remain but there is really no reason to use it.

Wait for the trade deadline
finalize rosters
make logos for each player
finish recoloring that c0nr4d buni

and somewhere in there make 11 courts (6 for the initial release, 5 more for Midnight Ballers)

like one of the posters above said, a aiact with crazy dunks and players that jump 6 feet in the air to block shots would be awsome.

No i dont agree with you there, anyway we cant modify that in the AIACT i dont believe

and I will be trying to get more FSS moves as normal moves.

just aiact editing nothing too advanced and the song is from the Black Eyed Peas, it was in Live 2004.

Unfortunately that version crashes.....a lot. And it seems to be at random too....which is not good. Sometimes every dunk works fine. And sometimes the same dunk glitches and crashes the game. I do have an idea of how to fix it and if I figure it out then you'll know about it.

i think you mean the off-the-backboard pass? No we can not enable that in 5v5 mode. Only in 1v1, practice, and the all-star game.

FAQs

How will this be installed?

I will recommend that anyone who uses this mod copies their NBA Live 07 root folder and Paste it with a different name such as 'NBA STREET 2007'. (I will post a tutorial on how to properly do this) It would be nearly impossible to have the standard Live 07 game installed along side this Street mod because of all the core files I will be changing.


What are the plans for FSS?

I am planning on either revamping the system so that it can be utilized for all players properly or I will be removing it totally and have FSS animations as 'normal' animations.


How will the 'story' modes work?

Well it's impossible to create a full linear story mode in NBA Live 07 so I will do the best I can with what we have. Both stories are stand-alone of the regular game using different teams. (which may or may not appear in Play Now) And they are 'loaded' up by loading a season file in Save/Load.


Why did 'Midnight Ballers' get delayed?

Well honestly I wanted to get working on this mod ASAP so I decided to postpone a nearly finished Midnight Ballers mod until the initial release of Street 2007.


When/How will this be released?

Well for sure this mod will not be released until the trade deadline because of the 5 player roster limit, and forcing everyone to wait until I make 30+ courts is just unfair. I will at first release this mod with 1 court for each division which may end up being my 'generic' courts that I have been making; if so then they will be re-done. Then do division releases for courts after that. The Initial release will also include the final home and away jerseys, 5 player per team roster, ABA ball, Standing Spectators, lighting, the gameplay/FSS/AIACT, and 'Midnight Ballers'.

I played 2 quarters with each team and when I played I did not use the FSS Trigger at all. The FSS moves are naturally occurring and the FSS passing is done by holding the pass button (replacing the 'lob' passes) so normal passing can still be used. Also the Jordan Gym is used in this video but I am not using that version in Street 07, I will be making my own version.


I need your help, I need to find street courts (with sources) for the following cities.

Dallas, Denver, Minnesota, New Orleans, Orlando, Sacramento, San Antonio, Utah.

They don't have to be popular courts (although that would be nice) and I have already used all the courts in pretty much every streetball video game ever made.
