yeh i did that..
i dragged it into act or w/e from the other tab
how do i access these settings..once im in the game
Fri Feb 02, 2007 9:58 am
There's nothing to access, this is a weak of the artificial intelligence of this game, so you'll notice it works if you can observe the changes that Pdub mentioned, mostly a more realistic behavior from CPU's Point Guard.

Pdub wrote:I actually had some bad gameplay today. I played against the Warriors in my dynasty and there was alot of standing around and dribbling, only their higher caliber players were pretty active. They had a team rating of 72 and while Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, Dunleavy, and Pietrus were playing ok, some of the worse players weren't very active at all. If anybody experiences stuff like that while playing weaker teams, please let me know.
Im also expiriencing that against the Bobcats, though I had a realistic score in 12 mins quater lenght, 97 Lakers (mine) and 94 Bobcats (Cpu)
but some of the players of the cpu just standing around and waiting. And sometimes cpu takes a lot of '3s' with much time in the shot clock, just like run and shoot' You know what i mean...
But overall the patch is good specially when a post player got doubled team he will kicked-out for the open J....

I have also finally fixed the freethrow camera on the TV angle, brought back the original zoom so you can zoom in closer or farther away. With maxzoom you can see the freethrow shoter fine, but not the basket.

Just updated the file in the camera pack.
By request here is a low tv angle preview at default zoom. Too low?

Exactly what I was looking for
Looks great, can't wait for that.

Can't wait !! Release!!!
Sat Feb 03, 2007 10:05 am
That was the only request I wanted to make regarding the last press cam you released, if it was possible to lower the angle a little bit, cuz that's how it usually is on TV.
Now this gonna be sweet

Gotta iron out a bug when the ball is inbounded on the far side of the court, it angles down to far and you can't see anyone. Probably has something to do with the free throw fix.
Sat Feb 03, 2007 10:25 am
Can you post previews of the free throw fix?
Sat Feb 03, 2007 12:09 pm
I believe this is at max zoom on the TV angle. This has been released, just grab the camera pack again. Although, since I noticed the inbound bug while playing with the low tv angle, the bug might also be in this one also.

hey Pdub,

can you upload your scoreboard? I haven't seen that scoreboard anywhere so if it isn't a problem for you, can you upload it?

Great job Pdub, even at mid-high zoom, FT view is perfect now.
And the TV angle is amazing, that's the real deal
Sun Feb 04, 2007 12:43 pm
I'm fixing up the scoreboard a little bit as you can see.
There's a game on abc tomorrow according to the listings. Last few sunday games have had the ESPN overlays so I should get a chance to look at it up close and note the details of the background.

can you make a sliding and stationary version for your low tv angle camera? also is this the same as jaosming low press camera. anyway im looking forward for this one
Thu Feb 08, 2007 2:24 am
I may have to make a sliding version only. Right now there is a bug that I can't get rid of, I'm not sure whats causing it. Basically during certain inbounds plays the camera pans down and you can't see any players or the inbounds passer until you pass the ball in. This may or may not be due to the free throw fix. I'm trying to find a way to keep the freethrow fix without causing the inbound bug.

sliding
Thu Feb 08, 2007 3:30 am
Hooray! I figured out that it isn't the free throw angle fix that causes the inbound problem. Now I just gotta find out what is causing it and fix it.
Thu Feb 08, 2007 7:32 am
It would be great to make the TV cam sliding only becasue right now the camera also follows the ball and it's a real pain in the eyes.

TV Angles released
Both cameras have been added to the camera pack. It has the same link that is on the first page of this thread.
Here is a preview of the sliding TV Angle. Its basically just a lower version of 07's cam, but not as low as the sideline camera.
So, here is the bug that hurts the panning camera. It only happens when the ball ends up out of bounds on the baseline, in between the basket and the far sideline. If you can live with this bug, you can use the camera, I have no idea how to fix it.

wow nice angle Pdub. Gonna check this out/

ESPN Score Overlay update preview
Just gotta make the logos a bit wider.
Fri Feb 09, 2007 9:04 am
On real ESPN broadcasted games are the team names shown as their logo/wordmark? Or are the team names just in regular text?
