Player Accessories Update [REUPDATED]

cool. i like it. maybe you should change the sock colors for the whole team that uses them? like for example memphis, just go in and change everyone's sock color to black.

yeah but either way i think it still wouldn't look right without the switch for home and away. let's just wait for ea to fix it.

Nice stuff, but I've seen a mistake - I've seen Magic match a week ago and I've seen that Nelson is wearing a sleeve on his right hand, and no bands on his left hand .

that's what i mean about how some players suddenly change their stuff but i actually did orlando recently and if you'll check some orlando game pics for the last few games, that's actually what jameer wore at the time i did the update(although i just noticed that i forgot to add his left wrist rubberband).

added raptors, jazz, wizards. all teams done.



next update will probably be after the all-star break, plus possibly some bonus all star teams custom accessories.

not much significant new stuff anyway so far, aside from sleeves worn by hughes and gwallace so you guys can just put those on yourselves. thanks again for the comments, especially from the patchers. as you can see from my previews i use your great stuff also like utopia79's cyberfaces, lookvod's shoes, and many more.

i mistakenly recommended qballer's teamgear update to update teams' colors.

i realized that after trying the latest nlsc roster(which includes his update to unlock teams) and he himself said that he didn't change team colors. i knew i was using someone else's teamgear and i assumed that it was his after seeing it in the download section.

actually, i believe i was using the one made by mchakko but the link to his file is dead and i don't have a copy. i pm'd him a couple of days ago if he could re-upload it but maybe he's busy. so i just made my own this afternoon.

the download link is in the first post and the installation is the same. try the lakers to test it out since their default colors for home, away, and alternate are all mixed up. let me know if there are any mistakes.

i made a simple patch that edits the appearance.dbf file to update players with their current accessories, bands, and socks. this patch uses the APPEARID values in andrew's NLSC roster v1.00, but it should work with any saved roster that uses the same APPEARID values.

notes:

- changes are based on players' default gear. any items that you or your roster's maker have placed prior to applying the patch will remain on the player unless they are in the same place, in which case they will be overwritten.
- some colors may be off, especially for players that use different stuff for home and away games, due to some wrong default teamgear.dbf color values. to fix this, i recommend also using my teamgear color update.
- previously updated teams are not changed in the latest releases. when i'm done with all the teams maybe i'll update again some players that changed their gear.

installation:

1. extract all the contents of AccUpdate.rar into your roster's save folder.
2. execute AccUpdate.bat to update the appearance.dbf of the roster.
3. start the game and load the roster that you updated.

it's updated. if you're wondering because of the previews above, those are using the default team colors so they're wrong.
