Julius Hodge dominates in this game, hes become my new starter with Melo playing the 4 JR playing the 3 and Hodge playing the 2 with Iverson and Camby at 1,5 the lineup is pretty solid and Melo is way too quick for the other PFs in the league so he crosses them up and drives to the hoop a lot easier he also is averaging 11 rebounds a game along with Camby's 15.

Do big offensively skilled 4s not dominate Melo in the paint because he can't block. Also can anyone give me any tips on driving to the hoop without drawing a charge. The defenders just don't move out of your way.

@ Everyone else, is it possible to change the Team Playbooks? For example, can i give Sacramento the Lakers plays and stuff?

yes... on Team Settings.

I thought you could only choose whats in the specific teams playbooks?
And you couldnt assign the Mavs plays from the Hornets specific playbook?

Another question.. have Custom Soundtracks (or ingame music like how you could use your own music when advancing the ball, home team has the ball etc) been removed from 2k7? More specifically, has it been removed from next gen 2k7?

I don't know about in Dynasty Mode, but when setting up an Exhibition game, it allows you to select play books for both teams. I'm pretty sure you can do this in current-gen also.

Custom Soundtracks are in the next-gen version, but I don't personally mind the soundtrack. It isn't great but it kind of fits the game.

It is a very fun game. I am 5 games into an Orlando Magic Association (29 game season) and so far I am 4-1, but I am considering going from Pro to All-Star difficulty soon. I'll post it in dynasty stories soon after I finish the first month.

How do I play the other songs as the soundtrack from the 2K7 playlist. Only the main songs selected play and I want the others to play too because I've listened to these same songs over and over again.

Well, it plays the songs in order, so all the songs play, just later. The only solution is to turn off the ones you've heard over and over.

You could also press random on the player. I did this but it plays the same "random" order every time, so then I just added, or deselected one song and pressed random again, and a different song started.

If I'm not mistaken, you can go to "Features" and select "Arena Music", and you can check off songs you want, and select which part of the song plays. It is actually a pretty deep feature.

Ah dude, theres no Arena Music in features or options or extras.. the only music related things are 2k beats, and sound test.. 2k beats only allows you to edit the playlist.. doesnt give you an option to import custom tracks or anything..

Edit: In my fantasy draft association, should i trade Caron Butler, David West and a 1st round pick for Chris Paul? and out of 10 how realistic is it?

On-Topic: I was thinking of 2K6 actually, I simply assumed that all of the features in 2K6 returned in 267. My bad.

As for the deal, the fact that two, young, talented forwards and a 1st round pick are in the exchange, I would say this is a realistic, and fair trade.

In about 3 seasons CP3 will develop and overall of 99. Butler and West will go up to about 90, and the 1st round pick is a wild card.

Good luck with your association. I notice you are weak at SF now, but Carney and Josh Smith could develop.

Got the game yesterday, downloaded updated rosters, played some practice games. Al I have to say is EA better not lose their NFL license. No one was a bigger Live fan than me, but I have seen the light. What a game! The best hoops experience I've ever had!

So far I'm 1-1 with my suck-ass Knicks on Pro. Got smoked by Iverson, Carmelo & Co., and beat the Bucks in close one. I don't know what the f--- I'm doing yet(with the controls), but I'll figure it out.

Advice, get Deron Williams.. hes a gun..
I couldnt get the Chris Paul trade i wanted to work, so i went for Deron (cheaper contract) and hes working wonders.. Just had 21-5-10 and hit a 3 to give me a 4 point lead.. Except im still getting used to his shot, only made like 30% of his shots.. 10/10 from the free throw line which i was happy with.. considering noone else shot more than 4 freebies..
