Revolution's AIACT patch from China----v8.2 released

Last years was very good. This year's has some work to do. Passing and catching animation not as crisp. IMO too frequently on drives to the hoop guys will do half hook type shot. These are my only suggestions thus far.

Very good superstar moves, post moves, around basket logic, different pass animations (pretty cool, just not crisp yet). Work needs to be done also on the right analog crossover and such.

Revolution is the man, I followed his work on his chinese site last year and it was fantastic. Being able to actually communicate our likes and dislikes will definitely help matters. Thank you for your hard work.

Me too, I just checked their forums and kinda no doubt that it is his work. Revolution's got it updated now til V8! His thread is a shocking 138 pages long...
While reading through leoguoben's thread, he mentioned himself that his AIACT is based on Revolution's. He actually thanked him for his effort and stuff, also included a link to the original (Revolution's) AIACT.

You're right that Jimmy doesn't go into details much mentioning every move, but it seems like these guys there in China tracked down what they changed precisely.. For example (Revolution's newest update):

盖帽加强，我用MARION，3分钟一节一场下来5个左右，盖帽设置为100。还出现了像05那样的干扰球，像YAO那样的大个子容易干扰小个子的勾手。

Using Yao Ming, with Superstar trigger plus dunk/layup will result in Dream Dance moves (probably Hakeem?). When player is too far to layup, pressing layup button will result in a hookshot. Same as while you shoot under the basket, it results in a hookshot too. Just like TV. Dunk are better but Carter signature dunks can only be performed during an open fast break.
Shot blocking is more powerful, I used Marion playing 3 minutes quarters. Got around 5 blocks, shot blocking ability slider at 100 (?). etc etc...

The fix is ok, but I dont like the running moves (when I press turbo)...

Yes, EA's moves are the problem. They are always identical, even if I want to walk slowly. There are no levels for the speed if I want to run or walk... But the running moves in your aiact.viv dont look realistic, the players are leant to the side when they run. So I preffer EA's moves

I read a few of their threads(translated via google) and I can assume that they are using a debug/hacking program to figure out what-does-what in the AIACT. They talk about entry points and stuff which has to do with debugging and I think disassembling the game coding.

Well yeah that's pretty true, on their forums I see patches from here. Some are credited with links to the nba-live download pages (like Pdub's scoreboard), some doesn't... Some are even hosted on their own site but still... What can we do?
