Depends on your sliders too.

true, but I don't abuse them. My user and CPU sliders aren't the default ones but they are identical.

Zoom, i use playcalling on offense, it is my bread and butter. Since i tend to play with good big men (by fantasy dynasty right now i have Amare and Bosh down low) and one good guard post up and pick and pop are beautiful. and when those dont work, i've recently been working on getting jumpers with my other players (my guards are tmac and d-will with a generated rookie at SF). Sometimes i wont be able to score, other times, i'll have 16 point runs, i think lives engine or whatever determines that is just like that because i noticed the CPU doing that too.
to samson: The statement about a good 3 point shooter....no disrespect but well duh Thats the point of a good 3pt shooter, secondly the sg has been torching me because i've been using tmac to cover the pg's so if its a semidecent sg, i give up alot of shots to them. In face defense seems to always help me.

I haven't won a damn game yet on all-star level.
They're shooting like crazy and my shots just don't fall in. It's the hardest Live I've played.

e-mat, you still have the PG domination issue even if he isn't scoring. It is the number of shots he takes compared to the rest of his team, not how many points he has.
And yes, Nash is pretty crazy in this game.

it's not that bad... they don't shoot more than about 12-15 times. guys like Baron Davis, Kirk Hinrich, Jason Kidd, Chauncey Billups register about 20. maybe it's a bit too high but I can't call it a bug... and if you change the primacy ratings accordingly it's even less a concern. I for one correct my next opponent's players' primacy ratings before the game. and changing the cpu's playbook works too.

Try playcalling on defence!
Do you find the big runs annoying?

For me Superstar is easier than All-star. Am i just crazy or are people having this as well?
Sun Oct 22, 2006 7:13 pm
you're crazy... i win bout 25% on superstar and round 60% on all star
Sun Oct 22, 2006 9:14 pm
I remember superstar was easier last year... I had to change the sliders on both levels but they worked a lot better on All-Star...
Maybe you're trying harder on superstar funk99?
Sun Oct 22, 2006 10:08 pm
Maybe i am crazy but ive won 4/1 on superstar and 0/5 on all-star. :O

Zoom the big runs only truly annoy me when i'm doing everything right and nothing goes in...those times amare misses dunks and my PG's can do nothing but have the ball stolen no matter what i do....but the runs arent bad otherwise...it actually keeps it exciting one in awhile because the CPU or my buddy's can start coming back against me (or me against them for that matter)
