OFFTOPIC

Hey Jugs I was just watching Portland Trailblazers practice on that NBA TV thing on the net, Magloire and Outlaw were impressive, and Dan Dickau (!) looked really good. Outlaw swatted a few of Pryzbilla/Randolph's shots back near half way and had a few nice dunks. I know its only practice but he looked real good, the hosts said Outlaw will probably start with Miles and Webster coming off the bench, but it will be determined by the preseason.

ONTOPIC

EA boards posters are retards, I can't believe that guy said that.

EA's response:

"Hiya!

Just wanted to chime in a second. In case you missed the announcement made both here in forums and on the official site, a patch for the PC version of the game is in the works.

We're having regular meetings (and that means almost daily), to determine what we can fix within this patch so this information will be forthcoming. But we are committed to doing one.

That's the good news. The bad is that it'll probably take a little longer than the 14 days you're demanding. But once I have a more concrete schedule, I'll try to share that as well.

That's all for now."

I imagine that comment coming from a gay hostage taker

lol, lawsuit for what? just avoid ea now if its that bad, which it kinda is lol

Sat Oct 14, 2006 12:57 pm

Just like some guy at the bottom fo the page on thouse forums said, that guy needs to get a life.

It's true that EA misled us into thinking that "signature jumpshots" will be in the game. Their staff in the interview video on YouTube clearly said there'll be such a thing, and there isnt!
I'm also not amused by the numerous AI and in-game bugs.

Hello? It's AMERICA.
Anyone can accuse anybody for anything and everything (or something like that)

The guy(gay) will propably get his money, because America is full of dumm judges...
The amount will although be so little, that EA doesn't need to bother taking the law suit further. They'll just pay the pennies and go on with their lives, which the guy who's accusing them will not...

Sun Oct 15, 2006 3:38 am

That fuckwit live 07 and ea whore needs a brain transplant. I suppose this lawsuit whatever the outcome is not a bad thing, ea has to learn never to let this happen again with live and also to stop other bad habits in the game making process. With the misleading advertising I remember it happened in one ea game before Cricket World Cup 99, don't know about any others but I wouldn't be surprised. With the cricket game they advertised on the back that it had a online mode but when installed it had zero online.

great....love it :D

Jesus christ, i can't believe everybody is still whining like a little girl with a skinned knee , my god ea is working on the patch why can't people just give it a rest dayummm if you don't like it don't play it plain and simple, if you don't wanna buy it don't buy it, but quit crying over it it won't get the patch any sooner , every day somebody new crying over how the game is messed up, By the way this is not intended at any one individual or anything but to the constant crybaby boobs that got nothing better to do. Sorry if i offended anyone but sheesh enough is enough already.

Sun Oct 15, 2006 6:57 pm

It's sort of pathetic someone would want to spend a ton of money on a lawsuit... and a lawsuit against a video games company because the game isn't up to their standard...

Sun Oct 15, 2006 11:42 pm

its not that the game is not to our standards its more like false advertising 8-)

Mon Oct 16, 2006 12:50 am

My connections are that real. I wonder what a spot on Good Morning America for would do to a company like this...
Yeah, OK.

Mon Oct 16, 2006 2:00 am

real good work. make them rush the patch to get it out early, meaning it won't fix all the issues. idiots.

Mon Oct 16, 2006 10:12 am

ea could march and army of lawyers over any idiot who thinks they even have a chance to file against them. this is just a big joke, kinda amusing actually

Mon Oct 16, 2006 11:31 am

I wasn't following their advertising?

Have they really done false advertising?

Mon Oct 16, 2006 11:35 am

"Signature Shots" and calling it a "Basketball" game
