The only solution is to make the PC version as Next-gen. It'll be much improved that way.

It's incredible how many people are displeased with this game and EA still refuses to listen. This is going to come back and haunt them.

Here are some bugs:
New Orleans "Hornets" away jersey looks like alternate jersey.
New Orleans "Hornets" home jersey looks like it has to be.
New Orleans "Hornets" alternate jersey looks like away jersey.
Kobe Bryants number is 24, but it is 8 in real life.
Amare Stoudemires number is 1, but it is 32 in real life.

I just experienced a weird bug, all of a sudden I was controlling and off-ball player almost all the time, but I was stuck to my player if I passed the ball even after receiving it. I could direct switch, so I finally direct switched to the player with the ball. When I passed it, I was still in control of the same player.
Plus the Defensive AI (for the human controlled team at-least) is virtually non-existant as there is no help defense. There is no "weight" to players its just animations. Ever notice the PG driving just pushing your help-defender backwards? Its because its in the middle of an animation. Same thing when your trying to take a charge on a guy who is in mid-air in the middle of a layup, you get pushed backwards, feet sliding. I bet most of this stuff can get fixed in the aiact file.
Oh, I also found that there is the remnants of the Fatigue effect slider and the CPU auto sub slider in the settings.dat file. I did a bunch of in-game changing and comparing in a hex editor to find this out. Their is a slider in the settings.dat file that is not used and its grouped with the General sliders. It was at zero so I edited it in the settings file and it made no changes. I figure it is disabled. I'm willing to bet that EA thought that with the playing time assignments feature, they wouldn't need it.
Sorry if this seemed more of a gripe thread. I just had to release it. I can workaround the crap if a patch is released that fixes the major issue(s).

Those are correct; Kobe is switching to 24 this year, Amare switched to 1 last year I believe.

Does anybody know of a 2K8 PC petition? I'd rather just skip Live all together in the future. We've got Pro Evolution Soccer so we don't need to play FIFA, now we need 2K8 so we don't need to play Live anymore.
