That should be called as travelling.. Just look at his feet then he starts moving...BigKaboom2 wrote:Yet another bug....*sigh*...this one's a little hard to describe. One of the best ways to blow by defenders in 06 was to use a freestyle pivot move, for example holding the right analog stick to the right while standing still with the ball (not dribbling). After you made the pivot move, you could typically choose to take a quick first step either left or right. In Live 07, you can't exit these animations into a quick first step. Maybe this video will help:

As Kidd tries to make a move toward the basket out of the pivot, it randomly triggers a Freestyle crossover, essentially ruining the move.
This is second on my list in terms of irritating bugs, and it doesn't seem like one that they would fix in a patch. This was one of the best ways to start a one-on-one move, and it's now useless.
I've also determined that Superstar Outside Scorers are the only players who have the extra pivot moves from 06. They now replace the original ones, whereas in 06 you would hold down the FSS trigger then move the right analog stick. They suffer from the same problem. There's no way to transition from a pivot move to a drive to the basket.

PC version
I configure the controller setting. Using PS2 controller.
I made the following change
[button1] = [triangle] = dunk/rebound/block
[button2] = [circle] = shoot/charge
[button3] = [cross] = pass/switch
[button 4] = [square] = layup/steal
When I used direct pass, my PF is showing [dunk]. But when I press [button1], the ball is pass to my SF instead.

Direct pass position assignment not correctly mapped to gamepad. ie: dunk label appears over player, pressing the dunk button will pass to a player with the lay-up label.

- Camera angles are never saved, it resets to default after quitting a game.
- On a couple of occasions, when the centre or power forward were inbounding the ball after opposition scored, switching to an off-ball player other than the PG resulted in the C/PF holding the ball and not passing it to the active player (5-second violation).

I ran a couple tests in exhibition, season and a dynasty with Tony Parker, Baron Davis and Chauncey Billups. Despite me holding turbo for an entire 12 minute quarter (that left everyone else with a black fatigue bar) the point guards' bar stayed completely green. The opposing teams also did not suffer fatigue at the point guard position.
If the players are fatiguing and not being subbed out, then the point guards gain a significant advantage on the court, this suggests that the cause of the domination is the lack of point guard fatigue.
Maybe it's just my game if no one else has this problem? I didn't edit anything yet, so it's the out of box game. I'm interested if anyone else can replicate this.
