Editing Rookies?

Hi everyone,
i need help with some stats editing in dbf
everytime to edit the stats of the rookies i have drafted in db commander it never changes in dynasty..
any help if anyone knows wat the problem?

Are you editing them after the new season has started? You have to wait until you start the next season, in my experience. The ratings change/are randomized before/during the draft.
If you're doing it after the new season has started... I'm not sure what's wrong. Are you sure you're opening the DBF from the correct dynasty file, saving, closing the DBF file, and then relaunching the game?

yeaa i open the correct dynasty because i only have one dynasty since i deleted all the others yeaa im editing it like nearly when the season over probably thats why it doesnt work sometimes i edit beginning of season but everytiem i edit i see when the evolution at the beginning b4 u start u're new season it shows thier rates and on mine it shows 80 ---> 62 when his stats are already at 62 when i drafted the rookies and i edit them to 80

yeah happens to me too
i dont think you can..ive never been able to edit rookies and have it show up in the game
also i some times cant get a regular player edited

As Donatello mentioned earlier, if you edit ratings prior to the off-season/draft, then they vary randomly & can swing about +/- 10 rating points or so....I don't mind this as it adds an aspect of surprise where you never know if the highly ranked prospect will really be that good, just like IRL....I edit ratings prior to the off-season/draft to do this....
to edit ratings, you'll find them in the following places....
Order of Draftee Ratings:
FG - passists
3Pt - pperfoul
FT - psteals
Inside Scoring - pdefreb
Dunk - pturnover
Steals - pminutes
Blocks - pgames
Def. Awareness - pgstart
Off. Rebounds - peject
Def. Rebounds - cpfgatt
Passing - cpfgmad
Off. Awareness - cpthreeat
Dribble - cpthreemad
Quickness - cpftatt
Jump - cpftmad
Strength - cpblocks
Speed - cpoffreb
Stamina - cpassists
Hardiness - cpperfoul
