Sit wrote:Hey X... hows Mo Pete working out for you? I'm looking into some possible trades for ya!

Mo started the season slowly, but I've now benched him to a 6th man role & am starting Webster....team looks better now with Martell starting

I want to give Mo a bit longer to prove himself....
now that I have Jugs' permission, I will probably move Outlaw....possibly packaged with a big cap guy like Ratliff or packaged with someone like Blake or Jack etc in a deal....
Jugs. wrote:Ah that's not a good sign, you're right that you shouldnt judge a player by his overall, but you've noticed his performance has dropped. If he's starting to fail, you've still got Webster, Telfair, Randolph and Miles developing plus you've got other youngins so I think its good to let him go, I give you permission

glad I've got your permission
damn, that would explain why he hasn't been as effective shooting the ball....I should really be paying more attention to these things....I never thought Outlaw would take a Qyntel Woods-like ratings drop
btw, I've still got Watson & Monia developing deep down the rotation too

Watson even exploded for a career high in a recent game

he's shown ability to handle both guard positions capably

Oh come on..Im brilliant too!

Blake, Ratliff &
possibly Outlaw out..
I'll try some trades out now
Tue Mar 21, 2006 10:52 pm
Outlaw, Pete to Miami for Haslem and Posey... D Wade can move to the PG, Walker can go to PF... u get defenders and hustlers in return...
Outlaw, Jarret Jack for Darko??? <-- Save Darko from his misery!
Outlaw, Mo Pete, Ratliff for P Dub, M Moore and M Blount???
^^ Really basic ideas to star off with... will nay of these work for u?

1st Trade:
2nd:
3rd: 50-50
Tue Mar 21, 2006 10:59 pm
First trade is awesome, Randolph at C and Haslem at PF

i predict 50 points and 32 rebounds per game with that duo.
Tue Mar 21, 2006 11:09 pm
Outlaw + Jarret Jack FOR Rudy Fernandez + J Childress
Jack can play at 3rd or 2nd man PG, Outlaw can fit into the SF rotation

okay, you can redeem yourself
I said Jugs was brilliant as I foolishly hadn't look at the overall rating progression/degression of my players....fortunately I keep field copies of all my pics so it was easy to do

I already have a hustling PF on the bench in David Lee....I want to keep minutes for developing Severin Harding, so I won't trade for Haslem, & I like Mo more than Posey....so 1st trade, nah....
2nd trade, no....don't want Darko....
3rd, to get Pierce, I would want to give up Darius Miles instead of Mo, for fairness & all....and I wouldn't want Moore (sorry Mark)

I would want Delonte West....I like Ratliff more than Blount....with tweaks, possible....
talking about Boston, I'd still luv to get my hands on Delonte West, I might try & give them Outlaw, he has a better rating....then I would deal Jack in with that deal or find another deal for him with someone else....
nice ideas though....

I agree, nice analysis

nah, I'm sticking to big Joel starting in the middle....it just wouldn't feel right without him in there

if he sucks in a year or two, then he won't start, but for now, I like Mr. Przy-bizz

don't want Rudy....don't really want to touch Atlanta's players for some reason....
for some reason, I'm drawn to one of the SF's I mentioned earlier....part of me wants to make a big splash & get a SF like Melo, but part of me doesn't
Tue Mar 21, 2006 11:20 pm
Dont get Melo... I say get Darko and play him at the 3. but u dont want him, so get me!
Wat bout Stephen Jackson and Bender? U know u want them!
Outlaw, Mo Pete for Jackson, Bender
Tue Mar 21, 2006 11:39 pm
Sit, I'm not getting Bender just so you can start

those might be your type of players, but they don't suit me....if I got you, you would sit right next to Ha earning your splinters the hard way
I will look at what's out there, but probably hold onto Mo I think....he's got some use at both ends of the court....
as for Outlaw, prepare to
Tue Mar 21, 2006 11:44 pm
Aww man, u know I will start one way or the other! Hit and Run!
Tue Mar 21, 2006 11:53 pm
hmm....Danny Granger is another SF who interests me....I'll find something....
hey Peachy, I'll give you a chance to change your EROM, Antonio Daniels took my brother's starting PG spot back, so Paul's on the bench....
Tue Mar 21, 2006 11:55 pm
Hey X... how did Paul do during his stint as Starter?
Wed Mar 22, 2006 12:10 am
Sit wrote:Hey X... how did Paul do during his stint as Starter?
yeah, he was going pretty solidly & the team seems to have slumped since he went to the bench....he was averaging about 6-7ppg, 2-3rpg, 3-4apg, 1-2spg....so just solid, Eric Snow-like numbers

yep, it helps I've had some time off work....I'm back working Monday so I'll definitely be slowing down, especially with studies getting more indepth as I go along....just wanted to try & get through quite a bit before time is squeezed....
btw, my December update will be tonight instead of tomorrow

trimester stuff will be either tomorrow or Friday, not sure, depends on time....

BLAZERS MONTHLY RECAP - DECEMBER 2006
December was another quiet month schedule-wise for the Blazers with only 4 games over the month. Once again, the team let a couple of close games slip away as the team went 1-3 for the month, to end the calendar year with a disappointing 3-6 record overall.
Zach Randolph (25.8ppg, 10.6rpg) continued his very strong play, as did Sebastian Telfair (16.0ppg, 5.9apg), who seems to have a better understanding of what's required from him at the PG spot. The team also got some good games from rookies Severin Harding (3.7ppg, 2.9rpg) & Andrew "The X" Watson (3.4ppg, 1.1apg). Swingman Travis Outlaw (2.9ppg, 2.0rpg) continues his struggles & could be headed out the door as soon as the Blazers can find a suitor. His game has gone nowhere in his time with the Blazers & a change in scenery is probably the best thing for both parties.
The Blazers have a tough stretch of games in January as they have about nine in total for the month. Coach McMillan hasn't been happy with his team letting games slip away from him, so look for him to try different rotations to find some players who will step up & take accountability for their play.
