Does the image have to be exactly 250x300? Can it be smaller? Also, is it 250 in height and 300 in width?

250 height, 300 width. I prefer that it's 250x300. or else I'm going to have to stretch it to fit the screen. your choice.

once again, it's just going to be one ad per update. the others are going to have to fall in line.

Stallions defeat the Magic in first NBA Pilipinas game

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES - The sold out crowd in the Araneta Coliseum were the first to witness the new and improved San Antonio Stallions in action during the first night of the NBA Pilipinas Games.

The Stallions defeated the Magic in a short low scoring game ending in 59-62 in the Stallions' favor. Tim Duncan had a great outing by dropping 11 points and grabbing 11 boards as well as getting two blocks to bag the player of the game honors. Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker scored 9 apiece with Parker also dishing 2 assists. Finley also contributed to the Stallions' offense by dropping 8 points for his first night playing as an official San Antonio Stallion.

Dwight Howard led the Magic in scoring and rebounding as he got 17 points and 9 rebounds while Steve Francis delivered with 16 points.

"I was quite happy with our performance," Parker said. "especially with how Michael and Nick seemed to fit in with the team easily. Our stay so far in the Philippines is quite good as well. The fans are very friendly and the atmosphere in the arena as well as in our appearances earlier this morning was very motivating."

There was no sighting of the new Stallions jerseys as both the Magic and the Stallions were told to wear their practice gear for the event.

no ads since no one really submitted except for Kemp40 but his doesn't count since it was just the Nike logo. I was looking for dynasty ads. I'm gonna have to put that on hold though since, I'm having a hard time reducing the file size of the gif's

Congrats on your first win against the Magic. Sorry about the Nike ads, first I am not sure what you are looking for until I know that you want the dynasty ads. Hopefully next time.

Tony Parker scored 10 of his 19 points in the 4th quarter. The Stallions continued their offensive barrage in overtime ending the game with an 88-82 win.

Player of the game Tim Duncan garnered a triple double with 22 points, 16 rebounds and 12 blocks while Michael Finley got 16 points 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Manu Ginobili scored 14 points and 4 assists while Tony Parker dished 7 assists to complement his great scoring performance.

Thanks for the comments. What's next? I still got somehting a little extra from the Philippines then I have a new thing planned.

Oh yeah, to Jugs and to those who still plan to give me their ads. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to cancel that idea. I'm already having problems trying to minimize the file size of the gif's as it is adding another image would just make it harder. Sorry. Maybe next time guys

The Man who played Manu

To the non-Filpino eye, the man on the court playing against Manu after the second NBA Pilpinas game could very well have been a young Kevin Garnett with cornrows and a few inches shorter. But to the Filipino basketball fan, there could be no mistaking that it was Niño "KG" Canaleta, the former University of the East Warrior and the no. 6 pick of the 2005 PBA Rookie Draft.

Stallions Central was fortunate enough to catch the 6'5" Kevin Garnett look-a-like and multi-time Slam Dunk contest champ of the UAAP (University Athletics Association of the Philippines) and the PBL (Philippine Basketball League) after the game for a quick chat.

SC What was it like playing against Manu Ginobili?
NC Well, I got beat if that's what you mean (laughs). No seriously, it was great, he was a blast to play with and of course I picked up a few pointers from him. He's very quick and explosive. I had a hard time guarding him because in the Philippines, I usually play as a forward and it was hard manning a guard who was bigger than me. Even after playing that game through overtime, he didn't show any signs of being tired. Makes you wonder if I could even score that much against him if he was still fresh.

SC You were no slouch yourself, you showed Manu and the world that you got some elevation.
NC (smiles) It's what I'm good at.

SC The game you played wasn't even scheduled but it sure got the audience back at their seats when they saw you guys, how'd did it happen anyway?
NC Well, a bunch of us local players was just hanging out with the the NBA players after the game then Manu and I got to a little shootaround to the point that we played a little one-on-one.

SC Lucky for us fans then. How's it like being called "KG" by your friends and fans?
NC It's very flattering actually, he's one of my idols. I know I can't really hold a candle to him but I try to pattern parts of my game from his.

SC Yeah, I can definitely see shades of Garnett in you. Anyway, how's it going with the PBA?
NC It's been pretty good. I've been practicing with the team (Air21 Express) getting to know the staff and my teammates. It's been a great experience.

SC That's very good to hear. Thanks for the time and good luck in the PBA.
NC Thanks and good luck as well

comment on Canaleta:

he once looked like Kobe Bryant when he had his afro-like hair...i think this was during the 66th UAAP Season

its also cool that you were able to combine the NBA Live and PBA Live rosters
