Lakers controlled the game from that moment and were on their way for their 5 straight win. But the Nets have other plan. Trailing by 5 points with 9.4 left, Kidd made a quick jumpshot to cut the deficit to 3 points, 102-99 just 2.4 seconds left. Lakers called a timeout to advance the ball at midcourt. But Jefferson stole the inbound pass and throws a desperation shot near the midcourt. It went it to tie the game 102-all les than a second left.

Los Angeles Lakers (11-4) @ Utah Jazz (7-8)
Game Preview

Utah Jazz are on a 3 game losing skid. They are struggling lately, having a record of 1-6 in their last 7 games. The starting frontcourt of Jazz are simply great. Boozer, Okur and Kirilenko are all averaging almost double-double. Boozer led the team both in scoring and rebounding. The only problem for this team was the lack of quality back-up in their frontcourt.

But the Jazz had more free-throws in this quarter that helped them to hold a 2 point lead, 60-58. Bryant was unstoppable, scoring 11 points while Odom took care in grabbing rebounds. Odom already had 15 rebounds with one quarter left to play. In the final period, Odom focused more on scoring.
