Help with steam uninstalling nba 2k14

Hi

I use a much edited version of UBR roster.
Recently steam keeps showing nba 2k14 as uninstalled.
The nba 2k14 directory still appears and the reinstall only takes 5 minutes

Problem is, it seems to edit over some of the modded files.

This has only recently started to happen but has happened 5 times in the past 2 weeks

Any thoughts?

You could try a fresh installation and use JSGME to use UBR without interfering with any original files: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=90401

Aside from that, that's very unusual that a custom roster would make Steam believe the game hasn't been installed properly.
