Still waiting on their reply. I found the Chinese forum for it (https://bbs.3dmgame.com/thread-6090377-1-1.html), but I don't see direct instructions on how to get it to inject. I've tried changing my locale to china, installed language packs, and Applocale. Still nothing. It's going to be something wild simple too.

I think that the problem is the option.ini, not the text.ini (Aleczou sent me 6 different versions). The option.ini must be edited by putting the root of our NBA 2K21.exe but for some reason the tool does not link and that is why it does not show characters.

I will let you know what he says. He sent me this screenshot (We are not seeing 1.04 below, so I can imagine the tool is not linking properly with our .exe):

In this case "Chinese", so all of us who are from America / Europe cannot see any character. The tool is working but it doesn't show anything because we don't have the Chinese package installed.

If we compare this tool with 2KTools, Looyh didn't set any default language, that's why it works for us.
Therefore the problem is not the "text.ini" or "option.ini", it could be the .exe. The author should try to modify it and remove the default language before compiling everything so that it does not force the Chinese language every time we run it.

I applaud your gumption. I got there and didn't commit. Prior to this, I changed the system language thinking that I was only downloading a pack. I had to find a video on youtube and follow it step by step to wap from Chinese to English.

I sincerely believe that your comment directed at people with an illegal copy is unnecessary. Those who do not have the original version of the game should not be here. It is against the rules of this forum. And I, as the author of the tutorial, have not mentioned anything about that illegal version because it seems to me one of the most toxic things our community can do.
