The servers were initially shut down earlier this year, but following some controversy, were reactivated and support on all 2K releases extended from 18 to 27 months. To that end, I believe online modes are still available, for a little while longer yet.

Tnx For Replying Sir Andrew . I know steam users can use online mode anytime if they want to (unless the 2k servers went down temporarily). How about the pirate users?
