How are the games 5 to 6 times larger than current gen? Resolutions are getting a minor bump but still, games like Skyrim with 1440p ultra high res textures don't even come close to that. Sooooo what the hell else is being added?

Also, if this is the trend for nextgen, yea digital wont be catching on very fast. Even with 500Gb - 1Tb harddrives, if games are all >30Gb, that won't last very long. This is definitely mysterious.

It's because they fill the discs with dummy/duplicate data to increase access times and in the past the full games have been just straight ISO dumps.
