Lob passes are in 2k14!!

Hey guys don't know if im the only one that didn't know this,but I was playing around with the alley oop and discovered that if you do LT+X when you are swinging the ball around the perimiter you get lob passes. Kinda cool. Don't remember this being in before and I haven't heard the devs mention it this year....so there you go. Manual lob passes.

I think it's been there, but by "accident" (or if it was on purpose, it was never mentioned on any "advanced controls" screen).

Technically, you're trying to lob an alley-oop pass in their direction, but there's no way they're getting to the rim.

I did that on a fast break after a steal (on accident), the ball was caught mid-stride by the PG ahead of me all alone, no dribble, big dunk.

BUT, I didn't get an assist credited to me.

Yeah I figured the 'accident' thing as well. But it's reliable this year as opposed to being more random last year. I haven't checked the assist thing though I will. Either way I know it does work getting the ball over defenders heads on the perimeter. So it's totally functional as a strategy.
