Request for help with intro movie

Hi,
I don't like the new intro vid, but in the patch Jao released there is a brief 4:3 nothing that flashes.
So I figured I'll make a symbolic intro vid.
Here it is (in all It's nine second glory):

Problem is I have no idea which format to convert it to and how to put it ingame (didn't find an answer in the tutorials subforum and online .mov conversion crashed the game).
Also, seems like the music is independent from the video?

Therefore I would like it if any of you (Jao ) could let me in on how it's done or convert this to the right format.

I guess, once I get the hang of it, I could take requests as well (on that note - any better idea for the song?)

the mov i got was already in the game, unfortunately, I do not know what format that file. Stuff like gspot and handbreak have failed at identifying it as well
