Great overall improvements! Especially on performance, no more lag for me YAY! I can finally use it. It looks great btw. On the previous ones, the emboss made the players look double (on my monitor anyway)and hurt my eyes, but now it's fixed and the doubling, gone! I would have to say it's "perfect" now. So, props to you and everyone who has helped on creating this mod. Great job!

thanks man, i would have stopped at ultra 3, but had some eye pain, so decided to do a Ultra 4 with JJ testing before release

Great Job i really dont know what else is there left to do...hmm i guess modders can start making more courts, or maybe work on the crowds... maybe more lively or colorful, lol i dont know maybe even sound mods where we can actually her the announcer better great job and this is coming from a real picky guy whos tried all your mods including those other real 2k mods

Thank you for your comments. I just did not want to have ten different people using 10 different photomods. I just needed to find that perfect balance to please, if not everyone, then the majority. I think I've finally done it. Honestly, the nitpicking is what motivates me to produce the highest quality work. It can be annoying and frustrating at times, but without it, there would be no top notch work. If it wasn't for JJ's testing and critiques, i may not have even released ultra 3 or 4.

Maybe next, ill just consolidate my work into a "johndoe graphics patch for new buyers" Just as a base for them to use.

the people at 2k should be ashamed, they have one year to release on pc and gave us some sorry looking , no shadowing on the players. John doe u should submit a letter to nba 2k including your mod and showing them how the game should look. besides that they released the best sports game of all time, but should have showed pc more love, being that pc's can destroy consoles in graphics

I just had a look back at everything on default, and its horrible to look at. 2k10 even looked better. I dont really know why they didn't have it look the same as consoles from the start. I dont understand the reasoning at all ......when 2k9 looked unbelieveable on pc at the time. Maybe we have to look at it from a business standpoint. Most of the people who develop these games are contractors, maybe, im thinking. So the less time, they have to put in one area(PC), they less they have to pay them. So it brings down the cost of making the game, and brings in a quick profit. With these mods, 2k is probably just sitting back now laughing and collecting serious money as even more people are going to buy the pc version. So its like we did a free job for them, while they reel in the profits as the year goes on. Im thinking the more modding we do, the less of a chance we get a good game from the start of the year. They figure, "hey lets just release what we have, and let the modders do the rest for free............instead of having to pay a developer to do it"
