Ok guys, I took some time off tonight in the past 2 hours to complete Draft, Free Agency, Trades, Summer League, League News updates. A season preview for the team I am to play with has also been written up. I will need to write up the next chapters, a 30-1 ranking of teams Ball Don't Lie articles (for X), top 10 players for each position Ball Don't Lie articles (for Hova). Updates can resume soon if you want it if you don't mind a wait between the first lot of stuff and the second lot. If you want it all around same time, I won't post till I'm ready.

What do you guys want?

The free agency, draft and trades first.

Then the BDL stuff. (Y)

You got two options as I see it. First option is to do it in two lots. Essentially off-season is first tranche & then story/2013-14 season preview in those articles is second tranche, even if that is a week or so down the track.

Or you could just hit us with one a day updates, draft today/tomorrow then free agency next day, trades day after, summer league/league updates next day. By the time you've posted them all, you might have one or two of other write-ups done. Better to let us read & absorb each part :P

I'd go for the latter

I'd like to read a bit every day instead of everything at one point. Really looking forward to these articles. Good to see you getting on with it. (Y)

Yeah, I usually do the offseason overviews parts 1,2,3 all at the same time. Maybe better to do 1 a day to let you guys absorb as X and hova have recommended. I guess you're all anticipating the first ever NLSCer Free Agency. :)

This is a case of "don't glitch due do to speed." Take your time with each.

Spurs Trade Koufos To Create Roster Space

SAN ANTONIO, June 24 (AP) – The San Antonio Spurs have traded away 24 year old, 7 foot centre Kosta Koufos in a bid to create minutes for incoming European champion and MVP Tiago Splitter.

Koufos, a five year pro, was signed by the Spurs last season as a short term fix to start at centre alongside aging future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan. Koufos had a promising year as he put up 9 points and 5 rebounds a game. However, in anticipation of the arrival of Splitter, the Spurs decided to trade away Koufos in order to get Splitter more minutes.

Kousfos heads to the New York Knicks along with Russian and third year SF Igor Chugainov. Chugainov, 23, has struggled to make a splash since being drafted by the Spurs in 2010 at number 14. Chugainov remains an athletic, defensive minded prospect and with one year left on his deal, he will have 12 months to prove that he could be an NBA player.

The Knicks sent SG Marco Belinelli and PG Chris Duhon to the Spurs to complete the deal. Belinelli has great prospects of starting with the Spurs. His scoring abilities will be treasured in San Antonio as they have missed the services of Manu Ginobili. The Italian is able to shoot the lights out and that should help SF Marvin Williams have more space on the floor to work with.

The Spurs hold the number three pick in the NBA Draft and on the eve of the big night are confident that their recent move, the draft, and the pending signing of Splitter will propel them back to the playoffs. The team is expected to draft Christian Bullard of Pepperdine; a 6’6” SG with the ability to shine on both ends of the floor.

6’11” Splitter of Brazil is expected to sign a 5 year deal to join San Antonio, the team patiently waiting for him since holding his draft rights from the 2007 NBA Draft. The 28 year old has been training in San Antonio and stated that he cannot wait to play for the Spurs following a highly successful career with TAU Ceramica.

About time Splitter made his way over (Y)

Bad to see a greek player-Koufos- being sacrifised for Splitter by the Spurs...

I agree with the other guys.
First all the offseason moves(draft,Free agency, trades) and after that as we heading for the start of the new season, the BDL articles

Just what X said. Good to see Splitter coming.

Here's the order I would like to see:
(Chapter), Draft, Free Agency, (Chapter), BDL, then start off the season

Great seeing Tiago over. Do you edit an undrafted rookie and sign him to the Spurs, or what do you do?

sniff sniff. my hyperactive olfactories tell me that this was more of a trade to open up space at sg in New York for Ty.

Finally Tiago is here! Is TP still in San Antonio? I like the lineup Tiago-Duncan-Belinelli... but no Marvin Williams (N)

Maybe the best of advice (Y) Still I am really looking forward to a top 10 position ranking "ball don't lie" article :)

I was going to do top 10 player by position articles last offseason but didn't have the time too. Thinking back, this story suffered a lot of lag due to real life commitments. That said, I'm committed to churning out the updates as long as people are reading and interested. At least I got you two keen for some rankings.

I've got to say the two hardest rankings will be the centres and small forwards. Will be tough to fill up the centres article and how you you differentiate between Lebron, Chara, Durant? (Don't answer that... it's rhetorical.)
