Although I was very impressed with winners of UFC 103, I was deeply disappointed how Cro Cop and Franklin lost the way they did. It seems age has played a role in thier loss. Franklin is going to be fine for now, but it seems Cro Cop has decided to retire. It's about time, but it could have been more glorious if he retired sooner like before deciding to fight in UFC.

I've never liked Franklin. And Cro cop misses his pride juice. Franklin almost went out like Forrest. Not even to a full punch.

Franklin's been a victim of his "fighting spirit". He's been fighting hard opponents every couple of months. That's gotta take a toll. Plus, Vitor's been on a roll. Before Franklin, he beat Lindland so bad, his knees were shaking after the KO.

As for Cro Cop, he's just not the same. Apart from the loss of aggressiveness, I think the Octagon is playing a part to his lack of success. I don't think he has much control as he has with a ring.

If you mean steroids, Cro Cop still looked pretty huge. As for the KO being similar to Forrest's. Forrest went down with a jab when he was pretty much been beaten down the entire fight. Vitor was swinging pretty hard when Franklin went down. Though, he didn't hit Rich dead on. I think the KO of the night should of gone to the other fights though. Koscheck's KO of Trigg looked better.

Trigg's return to UFC was disappointing. He showed nothing at all in that fight. :(

I am anticipating K-1 match of Peter Aerts VS Alistair now. No doubt Alistair has been a great surprise in MMA but also in K-1 kickboxing style of fights. He didn't only beat Badr Hari but also took Bonjaski to a decision where he lost but would have been different if it wasn't for biased judges of Japan.

Koscheck looked brutal, I'd love to see him fight Hughes. Cro Cop looked awful with his stupid two handed push thing he insisted on doing constantly, Dos Santos is one big motherfucker though.

Also what do you guys think of Daley? I remember seeing him fight months ago, I can't remember what organization but he absolutely destroyed someone with elbows from a muay thai clinch, it was awesome. I thought Kampmann's head was going to explode  Looking at his Wikipedia that fight might've been against Sam Morgan in ShoXC

Daley's become a favorite of mine now. His striking looks crisp. I'd love to see him fight more good calibre guys at 170. Maybe Swick when he heals. Then the winner takes on the winner of Kos-Hughes for #1 contendership.

To be honest out of those four I think Koscheck would have the best chance against GSP. GSP's obviously got Hughes' number, I don't really rate Swick and I think if he (GSP) took Daley down he'd probably kill him. If it wasn't for the loss against against Paulo Thiago, Koscheck's only two losses since 2005 would be decisions against Thiago Alves and GSP.

I agree about Kos but he already got his shot. Granted he's improved a lot since then, I doubt he could do anything to GSP now. His wrestling's useless against GSP's and Alves has better striking than Kos and he wasn't successful.

I think his wrestling is closer to GSP's than most guys, Alves' problem was he got taken down and just couldn't get up. I think if he could beat Hughes he'd be in a great position to take on GSP, but knowing Koscheck he'll lose against Hughes and put his career back another 2 years.

Kos should have better wrestling than GSP considering his credentials, but GSPs just a monster in everything he tries to do.

Kimbo lost on TUF, but this video has shown up on Youtube as "proof" that Kimbo beats Roy... because it apparently shows Kimbo beating the shit out of someone other than Roy, and the referee in the video isn't Herb Dean.

I paused it and brightened it in Photoshop...

Meh. You know he's gonna come back. They'll find a way to get him back. Else they'll lose the ratings.
Here's a good Roy Nelson interview.

Shogun should have won the fight. It seems Dana White hates all the fighters from Pride. Quinton, and now Shogun are victims.
