I only smoke cigarettes in a party or when I'm with my friends. I'm talking maybe once a month or less. I dont see the point of smoking on a regular basis, it's a waste of money and it's unhealthy. I dont touch weed at all, I've seen one of my friends when he was high and it really creeps me out.

You guys worry too much. You live life once. Enjoy and smoke and relax and chill.
Smoking probably is the best thing men have invented.

I prefer the kama-sutra.

A lot of things are done in the name of only living once and end up cutting said life very short. If that's what you enjoy then that's cool, but I personally get just as much enjoyment out of other things.

even if you do brush your teeth it would still end up being like that if you will keep on smoking just like my uncle hes a dentist but he has this black gums because of smoking too much ..

are you 17?or maybe 18..

With smoking/dental impact it's not a forgone conclusion that your teeth will end up like that from smoking. My mum has been smoking since she was 14 and her teeth are a little bit off white but that's the only impact smoking has had, coffee does the same. I think it depends on how healthy your teeth are to begin with. I brush mine twice a day, I know people who brush three times, floss etc and constantly have problems with their teeth yet I never have. There's a random element to it.

Seriously, I don't really recommend smoking. It's damn too hard to quit. Oh yeah, it has its cool sides too but my cardio has gone right in the sewer. Now, I'm trying to get back to where I was but quitting seems inevitable at the moment.
As for teeth, my dentist told me soft drinks are the worst enemies, while smoking also has its effect but not as serious as soft drinks or such.
Fri Jun 26, 2009 8:25 pm
Cigarettes are harder to get addicted to than to quit. If you have a really strong mind to quit then you'll easily succeed. It's more like a routine than a need. On the other hand, there really isn't a persuasive reasons for people to start smoking so it's harder to get started than to quit.
Fri Jun 26, 2009 9:26 pm
I don't know about that, my sister-in-law is still trying to quit and did so while she was pregnant and then subsequently breastfeeding but she's still trying to kick the habit.

That's usually not the case. If cigarettes are easy to quit, why are millions of people addicted to cigarettes? Why are products such as Nicotine huge?
Sat Jun 27, 2009 4:04 am
I certainly do not advocate smoking cigarettes, so don't take this that way.
I do not understand why people say there's no reason to start smoking. It contains a very powerful drug that feels really good, and it is a very efficient method with which to ingest that drug. There are certainly far more reasons to NOT smoke than TO smoke, but peer pressure is not the only reason people start (though that is certainly a huge issue).

I suppose saying there's no reason to smoke is just hyperbole, a way of summing up the argument that the pleasure isn't worth the numerous risks.
Sat Jun 27, 2009 11:11 am
Ah, I guess you're probably right. I just tend to take text literally as it reads, unless it's sarcastic.
I do think that many non-smokers probably don't realize it truly does have a high-like effect, though.
Sat Jun 27, 2009 12:19 pm
I don't smoke. It's just that I don't want to. And besides once you're game for it you need to have budget for it.

You
might lose some weight from smoking though, Lean.
Sat Jun 27, 2009 2:26 pm
Lean is going to Thailand, find your residence, and beat the living hell out of you for insulting him.
After that, he's going to photoshop a wallpaper of your bloodied beaten body lying on the floor.
So you better choose what pic resolution you prefer before he does it.
Sat Jun 27, 2009 3:02 pm
Damn, was it that bad?
I'll go with 800x600, cant afford a bigger resolution than that otherwise it'll be too much of a workload for Lean.
Sat Jun 27, 2009 8:39 pm
Lean is not that fat he's just a chubby man
