Arms Modding Help (it's about custom accessories)

Wed Jun 03, 2009 12:20 am

hello guys,
im trying to make custom accessories by myself such as modboy, dx jackson and others doing...
i put a sleeve on the arms texture, but in the game the sleeve looks like a body paint and doesn't have the thickness and copacity (volume) that a normal sleeve has....
so how does i make the sleeve such as i want??
i mean how to do it if the arms doesnt have an alpha picture like a ball has... and how can i make the sleeve to not be shine as the arms???
look at dxjackson post when u see daniel gibson, for picture for what i mean...
i think that somewhere hes trying to explain how to do it but i dont get it.... i dont understand...
can someone help me please???????????
thank u very much :P

You can use Finn's editor, it says what accessory want you wanna put. If you edit iff png, it'll look like a body painting (you are editing the skin)

Good Bye

no... you didnt understand me......
i know that..
but there is a way when you edit the skin to make your custom sleeve really look like a sleeve in the game and not like a body painting... and that's what i wanna know how to do... look at dxjackson post... tmac for example.. how does he make him have this thing on the shoulder and it has thickness......... now you understand?
and i dont mean the accessories you can put in the game when u edit player.

still looking for an answer..
thank u very much

Jarus wants to know how to make a sleeve that would look "protruding" as if it has a cushion that protects the arm or elbow.

He doesnt want his work to just look like a "paint on the arms".
