Buzzy : Thanks. Well, I hope alot of Wizards players are included. Bailey4mvp : Copy if you want. I'm happy to see, that my dynasty is inspiraring.. Marquis : Thanks.. Yeah, cause Frye has a lot of talent.. And he sees the minutes in New York, cause I have Lee.. And they already have Francis and Crawford at SG, Richardson at SF..
I really like this dynasty. Awesome recaps and good start, and good trades (not so much for the computer). I'm looking forward to the All-Star Weekend recap, keep up the great work.
New Jersey Nets - Kidd, Carter, Jefferson. Looking to make the playoffs.
Waiting for Live '08. Expect a Nets Dynasty.
Rookie Rankings -- Feb. 15, 2007 The countdown of the Top 10 rookies this season.. A little cutdown before the all-star break.. Who will be this years Rookie of the Year?.. * Red = Rookie Class Leader.
1. Tyrus Thomas | Washington Wizards | PF | ---------------------------- | 14.8 Ppg | 7.6 Rpg | 2.6 Apg | 1.12 Spg | 1.18 Bpg | ---------------------------- After being traded from Chicago along with Ben Gordon, Thomas's career couldn't start any better. One Main candidate for ROTY award, amazing athlete.. He fits well with the Wizards.. ----------------------------
2. Adam Morrison | Charlotte Bobcats | SG | ---------------------------- | 15.4 Ppg | 4.0 Rpg | 3.6 Apg | 0.81 Spg | 0.26 Bpg | ---------------------------- The third pick in the draft is quickly becoming one of the leaders of the young Bobcats franchise. Second in scoring in that team, trailing only Emeka Okafor. This young man has a promising future.. ----------------------------
3. Thabo Sefolosha | Chicago Bulls | SG | ---------------------------- | 14.8 Ppg | 3.6 Rpg | 2.8 Apg | 1.54 Spg | 0.39 Bpg | ---------------------------- The rookie, that did stay in Chicago, is more, that the Bulls hoped.. Replacing Ben Gordon's position almost fully.. Had some very good games this season.. 24 point performance against the Wizards etc.. ----------------------------
4. Rudy Gay | Memphis Grizzlies | SF | ---------------------------- | 10.6 Ppg | 5.7 Rpg | 1.6 Apg | 0.78 Spg | 0.61 Bpg | ---------------------------- Gay is starting to drop in the race for ROTY. Shined brightly at the beginning og this season, winning two consecutive ROTM awards, but after the Gasol-Lewis deal, his minutes have gone way down.. Lewis, as we know plays at SF. So does Gay.. ----------------------------
5. Randy Foye | Minnesota Timberwolves | PG | ---------------------------- | 9.8 Ppg | 3.5 Rpg | 3.6 Apg | 1.63 Spg | 0.33 Bpg | ---------------------------- Constant starter for the Timberwolves is the co-leader in assists. Foye can also play at SG. His team isn't doing very well, so that will lessen his chances.. ----------------------------
6. Andrea Bargnani | Toronto Raptors | PF | ---------------------------- | 8.5 Ppg | 4.5 Rpg | 1.9 Apg | 0.60 Spg | 0.55 Bpg | ---------------------------- The 1st pick isn't performing as well as the Raptors hoped.. Still 6th in the ROTY race.. A injury, that lasted for 14 games, has also took some energy from the rookie.. But maybe Sixth Man of the Year? We'll see.. ----------------------------
7. Shawne Williams | Indiana Pacers | SG | ---------------------------- | 8.4 Ppg | 1.8 Rpg | 0.6 Apg | 0.35 Spg | 0.23 Bpg | ---------------------------- A suprise rookie this season.. The 17th pick is playing better then a lot of higher picks.. Scoring about 8 points per game helps Indiana be at the top of the league.. ----------------------------
8. Brandon Roy | Portland Trailblazers | SG | ---------------------------- | 7.3 Ppg | 1.8 Rpg | 2.6 Apg | 1.09 Spg | 0.20 Bpg | ---------------------------- Roy for ROY? Not gonna happen.. Constant start for Martell Webster broke the hopes.. Seeing 22.6 minutes per game - doing his best with it.. ----------------------------
9. Rodney Carney | Philadelphia 76ers | SF | ---------------------------- | 4.9 Ppg | 3.5 Rpg | 0.6 Apg | 0.70 Spg | 0.43 Bpg | ---------------------------- Bench for Iguodala doesn't give a lot of minutes.. Only 15.2. Doing what he can. He can score and rebound well.. Also 0.7 steals and 0.42 blocks shoves off his defensive awareness.. ----------------------------
10. Paul Millsap | Utah Jazz | PF | ---------------------------- | 4.6 Ppg | 3.0 Rpg | 0.6 Apg | 0.50 Spg | 0.65 Bpg | ---------------------------- Strong sub for Boozer. 0.65 blocks and 0.5 steals shoves some defense.. 4.6 points and 3 boards also isn't bad.. ----------------------------

Don't you think Thomas is more worthy to take the first spot above Morrison? C'mon, Morrison has no defense, he's just a little higher with points and a single assist...
Tyrus is way better with rebounding and defensive numbers...

Rookie Tyrus Thomas will go head-to-head against 2 previous winners and Andre Iguodala, who made the finals last year. Everyone remembers his Iverson assisted pass.. Behind the backboard. Kobe won his back in '97 with the nifty between-the-legs dunk. And even thouh Fred Jones dunk, assisted by a fan, wasn't succsessful, he still took home the crown. Tyrus said earlier, that he has some interesting ideas, but he's still working on them.
Gilbert Arenas will face 7 other hot shooters. Only Billups and Arenas have participated in the 3pt shootout before.. Arenas fell short last year, so he'll be fired up.. Lebron and Sheed are big surprises.. Also Jason Williams and Damon Stoudemire are surprises.. Tracy and Kobe are both real clutch-Shooters. Let's see how this works out.. Arenas has been practising his jumper.. Leads the league in 3PT Field Goals Made.

The recap's will be be competition. 1st the Rookie game, then foot locker, then Slam dunk and finally the all-star game.
But pretty weird selections like James in the 3pt shootout, or Sheed in the starting lineup, but everything else looks pretty good, hope Kobe wins somethin' good...
Great dynasty still. Nice job on all of the all-star participants. One in every event! Gordon making starter in all-star is surprising, and some of the all-stars are odd (are nash and wade injured?) Josh Howard must have had a big game season also.
T-Mobile Rookie Challange was won by the Sophomores 77-74. Rookies won the first quarter by 4, but fell a part in the second.. Shooting .250%.. The third was a dirrific quarter for Tyrus Thomas.. Scoring 8, dishing 3 and pulling down 4 boards. The Rooks' still lost the quarter by a point. They came back in the fourth, and Morrison had a chance to tie, but it spinned out. Tyrus Thomas had a great performance.. Scoring 28 points, pulling down 10 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists. Thomas shot 13/18 from the field and hit both free throw attempts.. But Chris Paul still took home the honors.. Mainly 'cause the Sophomores won.. Shawne Williams complain'd about flue like symptoms and did not play. Tyrus Thomas had a surprise in mind, seeable on the pic below.. Jarrett Jack had a great perfomance. 14 points and 3 assists in only 7 minutes. The Rookies couldn't connect from downtown.. Only 5-25.. .020%. The Rookies outrebounded the Sophomores 41-38. (12-9 Off.) Well see Tyrus Thomas tomorrow in the Slam Dunk contest and Andrew Bogut on Sunday in the All-Star Game.
Graphic problems...
Charlie Villanueva shocked the spectators with his nasty dunks. | Rudy Gay finished with 16 points and 6 boards.
Tyrus Thomas tributed "The Greatest", wearing his jersey. | Morrison picking up a charging foul. He had a chance to tie, but it was misfired.
NBA All-Star Weekend 2007 - Las Vegas | Foot Locker Three Point Shootout Up Next!
wow this is great. I'm loving it, two all-star starters! Very nice, and Tryus is looking amazing. Can't wait to see dunk and 3pt winners! Keep up the great work...
