16 months only for you to lose to the Bobcats. Was a great run though.

A sweep is unforgivable.

hehe.. I mistakenly pressed the layup/dunk button i was surprised the shot went in..

Odds are stacked against me but who knows I just might be able to do it..

Anyway, just sent the font you were asking from me..

XxCavaliers wrote:Ouch. Things don't look too good, but don't give up yet.

Still not losing hope, I came back from a 3-1 deficit against Detroit so why not try coming back from a 0-3 disadvantage..

Lamrock wrote:16 months only for you to lose to the Bobcats. Was a great run though.

hehe.. yeah.. I guess the injury to LeBron really screwed my chances of winning it all.. But I am still planning to do at least 3 more seasons with this but with a much quicker pace than this..

Sacramento Wins Game 3 in L.A.
Posted: 25/5/2009 10:35:10 PM

The Sacramento Kings gave the Lakers a taste of their own medicine by beating them at their own home court 115-97, Sunday night in front of a sell out crowd at the Staples Center.

Six Kings finished in double figures led by swingman John Salmons with 25 points, followed by Ron Artest with 22 points and Kevin Martin who had a double-double with 19 points and 13 assists. The other three players were Brad Miller (13), Anthony Johnson (12) and Beno Udrih (10).

"It was a total team effort," said Artest. "We know we can beat this team, there ain't no stopping us from going to the Finals."

Pau Gasol's triple-double (35 pts, 17 reb, 11 ast) still wasn't enough to give his team the victory. Kobe Bryant finished with 20 points but just logged in 21 minutes the entire game because of 3 early fouls during the first half.

James Feels Responsible for Cleveland's Struggles
Posted: 25/5/2009 08:25:06 AM

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers took the blame for the team's struggles during his interview with ESPN right after Saturday night's Game 3 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats.

"I feel like I let them down; our fans, my teammates, the coaching staff, the management. I know things would've been better if I hadn't been injured but things happen for a reason. All I can do is give them moral support and continue to heal and get ready either for the Finals or next season."

James has been relegated to watching the game from the bench and acting as the team's cheer leader since suffering the foot injury. According to reports, he is still a week or two away from a full recovery and it remains to be seen if he can make a comeback in this year's postseason.

Think. If you can win this series against Charlotte, LeBron will most likely be healthy for the Finals. LeBron versus Kobe in the Finals would be ridiculous.

Pretty much all of their starters did extremely well (even Nazy freakin' Mohammed had 15 boards!) but I don't think that every one on their team playing at such a high level will happen that often. I think you can stave off elimination, I mean with a roster like that it would be a pretty big slap in the face for Cleveland fans to get swept like that.

Was supposed to buy a new CPU but was short on funds so right now there are no plans to switch to 2k coz my current PC can't handle it.. :?

Lakers are One Win Away from the NBA Finals
Posted: 27/5/2009 11:02:08 PM

The Los Angeles Lakers came back much stronger with a 107-90 win at Arco Arena after receiving a beat down in Game 3. L.A. now leads the series three games to one and is on the verge of their first Finals appearance since 2004.

Kobe Bryant had a spectacular evening with 41 points, 12 assists and 5 steals. Trevor Ariza was next leading scorer with 14 points to go along with his 5 rebounds.

"We are a much tougher team when Kobe gets his teammates involved," said Phil Jackson who is on the hunt for his 10th NBA title. "He got everyone going early and then just decided to turn on the switch and carry the offensive load. He is such a special player."

Ron Artest paced Sacramento with 20 points and 13 boards while Kevin Martin added 19 points and 6 assists.

Will Michael Beasley be the Top Pick?
Posted: 27/5/2009 09:25:55 AM

ESPN recently released their mock draft and according to it, the Kansas State University product may very well be the top pick.

The Pistons came into the lottery not even expecting to get the top prize but boy were they surprised when they won. If there was something the Pistons lacked, it would be a starting power forward and Michael Beasley may very well answer this problem.

Beasley gives them a solid go-to scorer in the paint and on the perimeter. Imagine this: Rasheed Wallace, Beasley, Tayshaun Prince, Rip Hamilton and Chauncey Billups in your starting lineup and you have a case for a return trip to the playoffs and maybe even the NBA Finals. The Pistons will now have the luxury to bring Antonio McDyess off the bench and anchor their second unit.

The second pick in the mock draft is Stanford's Brook Lopez. Lopez is a legit 7-footer who has a repertoire of post moves and an active post defender but he will have to do it as a backup for star center Dwight Howard.

Next in line is UCLA's athletic guard Russell Westbrook, followed by Florida's Mareese Speights and USC's OJ Mayo.

Great win. Gerald Green had an explosive performance. He really proved himself worthy while taking over LeBron's role. That was a terrible decision by Charlotte to double-team Ben.

I just might trade LeBron next season and give Green the starting nod.. haha.. just kidding..

Yeah, Pistons are awesome with their current lineup and will definitely be contenders if they draft Beasley..

Gerald had a great game.. Im just hoping he continues to shoot like this next game..

I was kind of saddened to see Gerald Green waste his talent year after year in real life so I'm glad that you've managed to make him play so well, especially under such high-pressure circumstances like the playoffs. He did let Gerald Wallace drop 27 on him though... Now that's more like the Gerald Green we know. :P

With such a strange mock draft (well I guess hindsight is 20/20...) I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up with one of the better talents from this year's draft class.

Nice win to hang on, but it still looks really grim. Its funny to see that draft board. In my association, I'm scouting guys like John Wall and Donatas Motiejunas, and here we have the Rose-Beasley-Mayo draft. Pretty crazy how long you've kept this going. Good work. (Y)

I thought you were going to be swept, this is a great dynasty with alot of suspense
Allen Iverson passing on family values:

A.I.: son, what you doing there?
A.I.'s son: practicing my math for my test tommorow
A.I: practice? practice? we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test - practice. we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test, not the test - practice.

Yeah, Gerald is too offensive minded, he only knows how to dunk and shoot 3's.. And regarding the draft I am hoping to at least get a decent rookie with the 22nd pick..

The future really looks grim.. well, I guess taking some breaks once in awhile helped me keep my interest in this dynasty.. I would've retired it if my PC was able to run 2k9..

mavericks fan wrote:I thought you were going to be swept, this is a great dynasty with alot of suspense

Thanks.. I really tried my best not to get swept.. Thankfully Redd's 3 went in or else the series would've been over..

With LeBron out, Redd is my first option on offense.. Gonna keep shooting until he gets hot, you know what they say about shooters, once they find the range they'll be tough to stop..
