Ouch, this hurts even more looking at how you could have won the game in regulation. James had a good luck, then the missed lay-up from pointblank range...

It's win or go home now for you, hope you do better then the real Cavs. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

Very tough loss. Hopefully you can make it nine teams in NBA history to win a playoff series after being down 3-1.

Impressive work you have done sticking with this dynasty all season long. Enjoyed catching up on this (the 2K section is where its at, so its easy to forget about dynasties) and I really hope your season doesn't go to waste and you beat the piss-tons.

It was a really tough loss, I really thought Sheed wont hit the shot and left him open and I payed for it bigtime...

XpLosibo wrote:ur team had an awesome game overall, but u still lose.. what else u hav to do against the pistons? theyr really tough :? .. Go Gasol (Y)

Yes.. The old Pistons crew is a tough team to beat.. hopefully I can extend the series.. And yeah, Gasol had a great game, he filled the stat sheets...

Thanks! I had two good attempts at the end of regulation but the the ball just wouldn't go in..

NEW YORK, May 13, 2008 – Forward Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics and LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers headline the NBA All-Defensive First Team, the NBA announced today. Garnett, who earns his ninth All-Defensive Team selection, and James, who earns his first selection, each received 52 points overall including 24 first-place nods.

Also selected to the First Team are 2007 Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Camby of the Denver Nuggets, who ranked fourth in blocks (2.12 bpg) and second in rebounds (11.8 rpg), Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets and Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz.

Garnett earned his first Defensive Player of the Year award, presented by Kia Motors, by leading the Celtics in rebounds (11.5 rpg) and helping the team hold opponents to a league-best .419 field goal shooting percentage. The Celtics held opponents to 96.2 points per game, three points less than last season.

The NBA All-Defensive Second Team consists of 2008 Most Valuable Player Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Rasheed Wallace of the Detroit Pistons, Robert Horry of the San Antonio Spurs, Gerald Wallace of the Charlotte Bobcats and Anthony Carter of the Denver Nuggets. All are selected for the first-time except for Bryant who is making his eight appearance in the all-defensive team.

The voting panel consisted of the NBA’s 30 head coaches, who were asked to select NBA All-Defensive First and Second Teams by position. Coaches were not permitted to vote for players from their own team. Two points were awarded for a First Team vote and one point was awarded for a Second Team vote.

Attached are the results for the 2007-08 NBA All-Defensive Teams:

I'll definitely do my best to extend this to a game 7..

My defense really clicked and my offense soon followed.. As they say offense wins you ballgames but defense wins you championships..

NEW YORK, May 15, 2008 – NBA Most Valuable Player Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers headlines the First Team, as the NBA announced the 2007-08 All-NBA Teams today. Bryant is joined on the First Team by Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics, Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic, Corey Maggette of the Los Angeles Clippers and Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns.

The lone unanimous selection, Bryant earns First Team honors for the third straight season and fifth time in his career. Winner of the 2007-08 NBA Most Valuable Player, presented by Kia Motors, Bryant ranked second in the NBA in scoring at 28.1 points per game to go along with averages of 10.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds. Bryant led the Lakers to clinch the final playoffs spot in the Western Conference (43-39, .524) and eliminated the Phoenix Suns who held the league's best record (56-26, .683).

Garnett, winner of the 2007-08 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award, presented by Kia Motors, led the Celtics with 11.5 rebounds per game to go along with averages of 27.4 points and 2.3 assists. In Garnett’s first season in Boston, the Celtics had the East’s second best record (50-32) and enjoyed a 26-game turnaround from the previous season, one of the largest single-season turnaround in NBA history. This is Garnett’s fourth First Team selection.

Howard, an All-NBA Third Team selection last season, was sixth in the league in rebounding (11.2 rpg), and paced the Magic in scoring (20.4 ppg) and blocked shots (1.86 bpg).

Maggete, a first time All-Star selection had his best all-around season in his career. He averaged 21.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists. He also earned First Team honors for the first time in his career.

Nash earns his fourth All-NBA selection after leading the Phoenix Suns to the league's best record. Nash finished fourth in the league in assists (11.6 apg). He also averaged a team-high 25.6 points per game.

The All-NBA Second Team consists of Miami’s Dwyane Wade and Washington’s Gilbert Arenas at guard; San Antonio’s Tim Duncan and Andre Iguoadala at forward; and Detroit's Rasheed Wallace at center.

The All-NBA Teams were chosen by a panel of 127 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada. The media voted for All-NBA First, Second and Third Teams by position with points awarded on a 5-3-1 basis.

Below are the statistics of all the players selected:

Nice win on the road. Pretty surprising to see Cory Magette and Andre Iguodala on the All-NBA Teams over LeBron. What happened to Carmelo Anthony? Pretty shocking not seeing him there either.
