A shame about the loss but I see LeBron didn't get a great deal of PT, quite apt for a preseason game so that's a nice touch (though he'd probably still start those games). Good luck for the regular season!

Nice effort trying to stop D12. You'll get them back..

By the way Chaser, I thought it would be James White because in my mind, he's the only decent player a team can get that's cheap.

James does start, I just don’t let the top guys play that long, I’ll give them more minutes once the real thing starts... Thanks for the support!

Man, D12 was just unstoppable. Let’s just wait and see who the player is... I’ll be doing that story arch next.

Welcome Home...

It is the 22nd of October and the team just came back from their long overseas exhibitions in China. The players were given a day-off but not coach Brown. He was asked to report to the office once they arrived in Cleveland.

“Okay boys, I’ll see you tomorrow for practice. We have a lot of things to work on, go home and rest alright?” Brown told his team.
“Yes Coach!” the team replied.
“I need to go and meet with the management team. Bye guys!” said Brown as he walked towards the car.

As the car traveled to the office, Brown’s thoughts has been going on circles. Who did the team get? Will it really help them or just mess up the chemistry a little bit more? Before he went crazy...

“Sir, we are here at the office,” said the driver.
“Ok, thanks!” Brown replied as he cleared his mind and walked on his way to the GM’s office...

Finally, as Mike Brown opened the office door, he saw a 6-7 or 6-8 guy talking with GM Danny Ferry.

“Whoah! I think I know this guy...” Brown said to himself.
“Oh, finally you’re here coach. We’ve been waiting for you,” Ferry said.
“Coach Brown, meet your new player...”

(The guy turned around and greeted his new coach with a smile and extended his hand.)

.... Gerald Green!”

Cavaliers Sign Gerald Green
October 22, 2007

Cleveland, OH -- The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that the team have signed free agent forward Gerald Green.

Green was drafted 18th overall in 2005 by the Boston Celtics. He has career averages of 7.8 points and 1.95 rebounds in 113 games.

He is best known for his dunking ability, having won the 2005 McDonald's All-American Slam Dunk Contest and the 2007 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. He will be expected to provide some energy and excitement off-the-bench.

Meanwhile, the Cavs management also announced that they have released players Billy Thomas and Kaniel Dickens.

The roster now stands at 14.

As they say, being loaded at a certain position is a good problem to have rather than not having any players at all.

Nice dynasty. You started your preseson pretty bad, huh. Can't really expect a lot vs the Celtics probably. Parker had a great night agaist you, but LeBron did it well.

IT is just preseason though and I really don’t let my top guys play that much so that’s why he had just 3 rebounds. But he did score 23 points in 16 min..
