Hey no problem, you cant follow every dynasty everytime !

Heat are strong, Shaq is a monster while Dwyane doesnt score too much but is more of a playmaker (7-8 apg)

Awesome dynasty, despite the disappointing season.

Do you have any certain favorites in the playoffs?

Houston makes it ! The Rockets win the series 3-2.

Dallas keeps the Suns under 90 points. Mavericks win the series 3-2.

Enough of a suprise by the Grizzlies. Denver wins the series 3-2.

Lets take a look at the new playoff tree for the conference semi-finals.

And here we are with our

Image

West

Image

------

Another Texas fight for the Houston Rockets. Both teams come from a 5 game series, so being tired won´t be an excuse. Tracy McGrady had a very good series althoug he had been defended by Bruce Bowen.
Will be interesting how Josh Howard will guard him.
Jason Terry plays big playoffs (28.0 ppg) and Dirk Nowitzki is back.
But how to stop Yao in the post ?
Houston should be able to make it, 3-2.

Image
Image
------

Two teams that suprise everyone. Both have their go-to-guys on the Small Forward position, but neither Maggette nor Anthony are well known for good D. Elton Brand will have his problems vs Marcus Camby, Kenyon Martin has to come up better (12 PPG) and the Nuggets should make it.
Denver makes it, 3-1.

East

Image
Image
------

The Pistons have their whole starting five stepping up and beat the Bucks easily. Big Ben should be able to keep Big Z under 20 points.
The Pistons have a big advantage at the PG spot. If Tayshaun manages to keep LeBron off the basket, the Cavs won´t have a chance.
But the Cavs role players can be big.
Pistons are too good, 3-1.

Image
Image
------

"AI" is back and plays one of his best seasons ever. His scoring is big as usual, but his passing is way better and he ranks at one in APG for the playoffs (11 APG).
But the 76ers will have problems to defend Shaq. Samuel Dalembert is a hell of a shotblocker but can´t keep with Shaq 1on1.
And Shaq is extra-motivated to win his "first" ring of his career.
Dwyane Wade does a solid job as a playmaker and allrounder.
Shaq will make it, but "AI" wants to, 3-2 Heat.

Well you both say the samem but Im not too sure about the Mavs, Rockets could make it also.

I now finished the Draft Installer and it works great for me, some faces dont work but that is not really a pity since they are only 2nd rounder faces.

I just want to ask you, especially Marquis would you think I should make it to 12 mins a quarter like you did ? Is it better ?

And my big change is coming along maybe I can reveal it tomorrow, well see ;)

thx for ya comments

ah and @couchpotato: thx and I think Detroit will make it ... maybe Heat but I dont think any Western Conference team.

I dunno man. You will need some time to adjust your sliders, like I did, because I don't want very high scoring game. Personally I like 9 min quarters, but 12 min quarters give you high-pressure match with great matchups and good defense.
Although it takes much more time to finish the game, and at this time I'm kinda bored to play some games in my Dynasty.

I already adjusted the sliders a bit, but they need some fine tuning.
What I like is the fact, that you have the real minutes for the player and you have to give the bench players more minutes (I could do that with 9 mins and higher fatigue, but thats unrealistic)

Well I hope you will find fun with your dynasty quickly, but I have to admit the soccer worldcup will be my main thing in the next month, so I do as much as possible now to keep this one going to the next season fast.

thx for your advice !

Yeah Rockets are in the semifinals (Y) Hope to win against the Mavericks and advance to the Conference Finals  Too bad for the Bulls though :(

P.S. Btw I would say to keep it at 12 minutes is more realistic. Personally I find 12 minutes with the sliders changed of course just perfect for me when I play at the superstar level and i also have realistic scores. But depends on the way you play - it's a big factor this one.

May, 24th

The NBA today announced Antoine Walker as the winner of the Best 6th Man Award of the 2005/2006 season.

ImageImageImage
For Antoine Walker it is his first award next to being named to the All Rookie 1st team.
The 9 year veteran, a three-time All-Star showed that he has changed. From the selfish and immature young gunner to a player who comes off the bench to help his team.
In 23.6 minutes for the Miami Heat this season (5 starts) he averaged strong 11.4 points on a .459% shooting.
He also grabbed 4.7 rebounds and dished out 2.4 assists per game.
He stopped taking difficult shots and showed more of a team-play.
His three point shooting (.351%) and freethrow shooting (.535%) were not as good as several seasons before, but "Toine" was never worth more for a team and is one factor that the Heat are in the Conference Seminfinals (vs Philadelphia next game May 26th)
Kwame Brown finished 2nd after a good season with the weak Los Angeles Lakers. (10.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game)

Well, the game just announced Joe Johnson for the best sixth man !!!
He is NOT a bench player and I decided to make it by myself, because that would have been so silly, a player averaging 31 MPG as best sixth man, nice NBA live !
double_g Yeah I think I will play the 12 mins, its more realistic and I like that.

Credits to anthony15 for the icons on the pics ! (And I guess Nuggets will make it :) )

Tough for Houston they are 0-2 :x I guess Dallas will win this one. And another nice presentation Walker for the 6th Man (Y)

Btw will you go and see live any WC Games? And good luck for Germany. In my opinion they won't have such hard time in winning the group :)

thank you ;), well I didnt get any ticket, that sucks, I tried to but no chance, many of my mates got tickets.
But today we will make a big party with big screen and stuff.
Well we should win this group, but never underestimate those small countries(soccer-wise).
And Ballack wont play today, he is out with calf-problems.
Sucks that Romania didnt qualify, there was some big rebuilding and I like those new Romanian players. And Steaua and Rapid made the Uefa cup semi finals ;)

I understand you. You should end playoffs quick and then start the most excited event - offseason.
The victory by 76ers is really big.
