Los Angeles Lakers (14-9) @ Detroit Pistons (17-6)
Game Preview
Lakers will try to bounce back from their last night loss when they visit the Detroit Pistons. In their last game, Bryant played limited minutes due to foul trouble and only finished with 16 points, 8 points less of his season average. Also their played horrible team defense allowing Stojakovic and Mobley shots very well from the field.
Detroit Pistons, on the other hand, holds the best record in NBA today. At 17-6, they also hold the longest winning streak of the season at 9 games. But in their last 8 games, they were only able to win half of it. The backcourt duo of the Pistons still lead their offense while the frontcourt anchor their defense.
Kobe Bryant will once again go up against Pistons defense and will be hard time with Prince guarding him. Lakers will need productions from other players and will also need to play good team defense to have a good chance in winning this game.

ceekay vs. Micchy_boy
ceekay (left) goes for a 2-handed dunk for his 11th point of the match. Micchy_boy
(right) also made couple of dunks.
Dec 17 Sat -- Cyriel Klitsie displays hiss dribbling skills and quickness in this game. Despite giving few inches in this match-up, he still finds ways to give a good fight and even win it at the end. He made a lot of easy lay-up by going fast to the basket.
Santos, on the other hand, showed he got the touch from the outside for his size. But with limited dribbling skill, he made more attempts form outside than inside. His lateral defense was also questionable, with Klitsie always able to escape his defense. Also he was not a good shotblocker, he never able to block those easy lay-ups.
Santos started the game making a surprise 2 point shot for a 2-0 lead. But in the next possession, he missed a closer jumper and Klitsie grabbed the rebounds. Klitsie then scored 5 straight points, all from lay-up after shaking off Santos. Santos then counters it with 2 baskets, a lay-up and a dunk, to cut the deficit to 5-4. But Klitsie once again made a 4-0 run to put him within 2 points of a win. Santos again scored a 2-point and a dunk to make it 9-7. Both payers then traded baskets for a 10-8 count and Santos holding the ball. But he missed another jumper and Klitsie got the ball. He dribbled the ball, made a crossover and takeoff for a 20handed jam. Cyriel Klitsie wins this 11-8.
Klitsie will now advance to the 2nd round to face Jing Xu.

Klitsie had an easy lay-up after escaping Santos.
