I wish I could get a good shooting guard though.

It always seems I have a weak 1/5.

Do you have anyone on your bench that'd you be willing to give up, say in a two for one, to try and get a better starting shooting guard?

That's actually the other weakness for my team. My bench is REALLY thin.

I think the highest rating out of them is a 70 :(

That does make it difficult. Perhaps you could focus your training on Antoine Wright and then try packaging him with a player or two from your bench for a better shooting guard.

Happy to say I hit my best record so far as far as awards in one year go, my team got: MVP, DPOTY, and Sixth Man. I was so proud of them <3 (and it was Rose's 3rd MVP)

Here's my S5 + Sixth Man:

C - J. Muller [83]
PF - T. Thomas [83]
SF - A. Randolph [81]
SG - D. Salmons [94]
PG - D. Rose [98]

Sixth Man - A. Cullen [82]

I'd guarantee it as there isn't a J. Muller or D. Salmons in the league at the moment.

Alright, so I started a new Spurs Dynasty (my Heat one got a little old :P But I still have it). Picked Random Order for the NBA Draft, got lucky enough to get 4th :P

Here's the lineup:

C - D. Howard [91]
PF - C. Bosh [89]
SF - S. Marion [86]
SG - Manu Ginobili [87]
PG - Derrick Rose [82]

I gotta say, I'm liking this.

Was having settings problems, made a Lakers Dynasty.

C - A. Bynum [81]
PF - P. Gasol [89]
SF - R. Lewis [83]
SG - D. Wade [95]
PG - D. Rose [82]

Coming off the bench: Oj Mayo [81] and L. Odom [82]. Team Rating @ 97 :P

Got 5th Pick on Random 2008 Draft (I got lucky twice in a row =D)

Impressive roster but too stacked for my liking. That's one of the reasons I don't do fantasy drafts but you've picked well. :)

I didn't do Fantasy, I did the 2008 Draft, but instead of the order from 2008, I used the random option :P

I am worried about Gasol and Lewis though, they're both nearing the deadly 32 mark, so I'll have to hope to get some good trades.

i just started a lakers dynasty but traded away most of the players, this is what i have so far

C Dwight Howard/channing Frye
PF Al Harrington/tim thomas
SF richard jefferson/hedo turkoglu
SG ben gordon/jamario moon
PG derrick rose/nate robinson

don't play:
javale mcgee
shanan brown

what do you think and what could i improve on?

note: i have two first rounders and i think five second rounders i can trade away

Possibly your starting power forward though Harrington is certainly good enough especially with the rest of your lineup being so strong. I'd be inclined to see how that lineup goes before making too many more changes as I wouldn't be in a hurry to trade anyone unless I found I couldn't use them effectively.

i simulated most of first season and didn't make the playoffs, so i decided to switch it up a bit. here's what i have now

C kevin love 78/nick collison 74/robin lopez70
Pf michael beasley 81/channing frye 73
sf kevin durant 87 (had to give up dwight howard but freed me up to trade other players)/computer generated rookie 76
sg ben gordon/eric gordon/computer generated rookie 67 (83 3pt though)
pg derrick rose/nate robinson

do you think better or worse than before?

A bit of a toss up but your lineup does look a bit more balanced and deep having sacrificed at one position so that you can be stronger across the board. I probably wouldn't have given up Howard so readily but then I'm more inclined to play the games, since the other lineup wasn't working out a change was probably for the best.

I'm surprised you didn't make the playoffs, that's very weird. Never happened to me, and I've had way thinner teams than that.

It definitely helps to at least intervene on occasion, especially if you're battling for playoff position (or to make the Playoffs) down the stretch and during the Playoffs themselves.

Hey guys, this is my starting lineup for the Spurs on 09;

C: Alonzo Mourning
PF: Tim Duncan
SF: Rudy Gay
SG: OJ Mayo
PG: Tony Parker

Timmy D has become more of a Camby type player; 11 odd points and 12 rebounds, 3 blocks a game while Rudy and OJ are powering the offense. Its a great lineup because I can switch to Tony Parker whenever I need to get a score.

Ok,I've reached the 9th year of my dynasty with the Pacers and have won 7 championships and never fallen under 64 wins a season. Its on Starter level, and I didn't use Fantasy Draft. Here's my team

C J.McRoberts(98, 29 yrs)
PF M.Beasley(99,28 yrs)
SF J.Sullivan(93,27yrs)
SG O.Mason(90,24 yrs)
PG M.Chambers(91,25 yrs)
............................................
C- R.Menezes(87,30 yrs)
PF- N.de Jesus(85,22 yrs)
SF- A.Randolph(91,28 yrs)
SG- D.Gallinari(89,28 yrs)
PG- A.Duckey(84,31 yrs)
.............................................
Inactive-
SF- B.Perez(80,26 yrs)
PG-D.Gibson(75,32 yrs)
PF-A.Moreno(72,22 yrs)

I recently went of to a personal best 80 win regular season, with two 52 and 28 winning streaks respectively.Michael Beasley was both MVP and Finals MVP,and Josh McRoberts continued his 8-year Defensive Player of the Year streak(7 with Indiana,1 with Dallas),and my all my starters were voted into the All NBA First Defensive Team.

What say?

Haha, thats ridiculous! Your lowest player is 72 and hes inactive!

No wonder you went 80-2, it was on Starter... but a great group of players IMO.
