How to make a "complete" custom team?

Postby kibaxx7 on Mon Jul 13, 2009 1:24 pm

So, I created a team. Selected the city and nickname, now I want to know how to make jerseys and a court for the team. I saw this thread. What program can I use to change the court logo, for the sides of the court and the center? And what program to make the jerseys? I'm a 0 for making patches. Any additional help will be very appreciated.

For editing court and jersey texture, you may use the IFF Editor.

The court centre logo is in sequence 11 if I am not mistaken.

You are a saviour, with the Sonics patch and now the tutorial. :P Anyone who gives me more feedback about the courts, will be appreciated!

Sorry for the double post. Another question.

After I made the team, I went to Association mode, put "Customize League" ON so I could put my custom team in the league. But it doesn't allow me to "add" it, so I could have 31 teams, it makes me to take one of the 30 NBA teams out. Anyway to do this?

Aw, that sucks, I don't really want to replace any team. :( Oh, a story of some team going bankrupt will work. :cheeky:

Does the clone player still play to its original team if you sign him to your custom team?

Yeah... in that case, I would waive them from their original teams and lower their ratings... so no other team signs them...

Guys I spent the day examining the court iff and it is pretty self explanatory on how to create a "complete" custom team. Get comfortable with the great IFF editor and compare and contrast with the supersonics complete team. You will see the files that Razor replaced if you download this viewtopic.php?f=94&t=67227 and look through them.

From there it is just using photoshop and replacing the files. No real need for a tutorial just get familiar with the IFF editor.

Now does anyone know where the logos are located for the team select screen and can we replace them? Or is texmod the only way?

Yeah, but for the jerseys, and for transparencies, I don't understand anything :P
