I always find my PG Guarding Cs

I dont know why, and its quite annyong when my PG (hinrich) ends up guarding my opponent's Cs..I do man to man defense most of the time and while using my SG on defense, I usually find my PGs guarding the Cs at the paint. Any advise?

Maybe your big men are slow running back on defense? I never had this problem before, does this happen on every possession? What are your match ups from the match ups screen? You could double team if you have trouble guarding a center with your PG.

It's because the PG runs back on defense and stands under the basket. Control your PG as soon as your team is on defense and make sure he is up on the ballhandler so your center picks up his man.

^^ yeah I think that is the problem, whenever I dont control my PG he stands under the basket and guards the big guys. Any workarounds other than controlling him?

Try calling different defensive plays as soon as you are on defense. Maybe full court press or 3/4 court so they pick up their assignment in the backcourt, rather than running back and waiting in the frontcourt.

Yeah I figured that would be the most appropiate. Jameer Nelson defending against Oden and Aldridge, just sucks.
