didn't work... only happens with 2k9. I can play mass effect on high with same res and get 65-72 fps, same with last remnant and bioshock ...is a shame, considering i play 2k9 more than any of them. Strange tho, i get 110-125 fps in blacktop 5v5 and in a quickgame, if i turn of AA and put all settings to low except player detail, using same res, only gain 4-6 fps.

I play it on my laptop (2,5 GHz T9300 Dual Core processor, 4 GB RAM and GeForce 8600 512 MB) at 1680 x 1050 with everything maxed out, and it works perfectly. Which DirectX do you have?

9.0c :/

That's probably the reason.

huh? isnt that the latest directx version for windows XP?
Sun Jun 28, 2009 11:36 pm
Actually no. There is no big difference in most games, but it works for some. I've got DirectX 10 on XP, although I got it from the dealer already installed. Search around the web either for DX 10 for XP or download the latest version of DX 9 from Microsoft. Both could work.
