ANTAWN JAMISON TEXTURE

why is it when i try to edit antawn's texture his hair becomes messed up? example i edited the texture of antawn jamison with a buzz cut hair and when i export the texture and use him in game his hair became black. il post some pics later.

why is it the whenever i try to aplly this texture (i fixed his eyes.. they look like a black eye) the hair becomes messed up?
