Dynasty mode editing

Hey team. NBA Live 08 used to be my favorite back in the day. I was feeling nostalgic so I downloaded today and played Dynasty mode. I remember I would be able to edit players I just drafted (ex: ratings) but can't seem to do it. I use to pick up undrafted players and make them 80 rating overall like a Cinderella story lol. Can someone lead me to a download link where I can update dynamic mode.

As far as in-game editing is concerned, ratings can only be modified before starting a Dynasty game. There aren't any mods to change that, as far as I know. It is possible to externally edit a Dynasty save by opening the .dbf files with DB Commander, specifically players.dbf to modify ratings and other player data.

Thanks for the fast reply Andrew. I guess my memories are playing tricks on me. I swore I was able to change the ratings in game. All good though

You can change jersey numbers and primary/secondary positions, as well as accessories, so in that respect you definitely are correct in recalling that players can be edited to some extent.
