I strongly disagree and frankly, calling it "pathetic" is unnecessarily elitist and rude. I don't think anyone would disagree that it's more skillful to create a face patch from scratch through more traditional methods but if it's for the benefit of the community (and no original community work is being outright stolen), why not attempt a conversion? There have been a fair few useful that have involved swapping files between games after experimentation and conversion; trying to make faces based on 2K's art files is merely an extension of that.

sorry bro but I don't have the lists I don't have 2k games on my pc..
yes its possible but its not 100%.. you still have to learn how to edit the headshape

@ DC311, yes i didn't change the ear size so that people can see that it's really from 2k, coz 2k uses smaller cf (im gonna fix that).. im on the process right now making new roy's headshape coz the default really needs to redone..

but we all already knew that way of patching live games is different from 2k.. live games has its own way to make patches and it has been proven and tested.. I undterstand the effort of convertion but patches made by real way of live patching is different yet it is hard and it needs talent

@ Doktor, here's my in game picture of brandon roy using 2k cf, i agree with you, i dont understand why some people can't appreciate other ways of patching, ofcourse we can't use headshape from 2k coz they uses 3dmax to edit that and cannot be converted to ebo, but same as you want to do it's really possible to use other stuff like jersey, cf and other art from 2k, i don't really need to make my live look like 2k game, coz i have both game continue making patch as the way we want

I think it's more a case of having a viable alternative than completely replacing the existing method. Of course, right now it appears the tried and true method remains the only viable one but it's worth experimenting nevertheless.
