I hadn't heard that recently but it wouldn't surprise me. He missed the entire 2007 season and there were a few whispers last year that he might not be able to return.

No one else is wearing it at the moment and it isn't retired so that's the number I'm going with for Mason for now. Thanks for the heads up on Mo Pete.
