Team Abrrev 2 Question?

Sir Andrew in NBA Live 2008, can I used the team abreviation "ci" of chicago bulls 2013 team when i create chicago bulls 1991,1992,1993,1995,1996,1997, is there a limit of using same abrreviation in one mode? And how many maximum teams can I add in NBA Live 2008? so far I have 123 teams now in my mode, and for adding created players is there also a maximum limit of number of players i can add?

You can reuse abbreviations as many times as you want, just be aware that they'll all use the same artwork. I'm not sure of the maximum number of teams that can be added but I believe the CAP limit is around 200. Of course, if you go ahead and make those created regular players (ie assign them a face, changed their ISCREATED to False), then you're not going to hit that limit.

Thank so much Sir Andrew for the information, now I'm confident that I can avoid any crushing issues, if I almost reach 200 teams i will just make a backup of my latest modification so that just incase I encounter crushing issues i still have a backup of the last modification I made which is running good... Now i know that there's no limit on creating players as long as i changed the ISCREATED to False. Oh by the way sir Andrew, is there any tutorial on how to create a .big file, i try to rename them before (ex: i rename arenas~0a_arena.big to arenas~pb_arena.big) my mode encountered errors but the good thing is that I made backup of my mode before I experimented that... I ask this Sir Andrew because I want to add more team abreviation which can match to arena preview and jersey previews...

In addition to renaming the file, you also need to change the name of the internal files using a Hex Editor (any free one will do). Open the file and do a "Replace" on the old name. In your example:

1. Rename arenas~0a_arena.big to arenas~pb_arena.big
2. Open arenas~pb_arena.big using a Hex Editor (again, any free one will do. I use HxD myself).
3. Go to the Replace function. In HxD, it's in the Search menu or you can press Control-R.
4. In the "Search for" box, enter 0a_arena
5. In the "Replace with" box, enter pb_arena
6. Click OK

That should rename all of the files inside the .big file to the new abbreviation.

Yes! finally thank you so much Sir Andrew for this tips that you gave me, I've been trying to search it on google and I can't find any tutorials about this, now I can edit and customize all the teams that i've added in my mode, I can now add more jersey previews on the jerseys that I've created.
