can anyone help me... db stuff

I created a new player using the DB commander, then I tried to switch his team to the boston celtics by changing the team to 1.. I went into the game but I still can't find my player... can anyone help me...

Which DBF file did you edit? Whenever you're working with the rosters, it's best to save the roster and then edit the dbf files located in the appropriate save folder. That way you can easily re-load the roster with the changes you've made.

ofcourse.... but It won't work.. I just don't know why.. it works on all other changes.. but It just won't work on changing the player's team... I even tried to use the editor.. but It still won't work

thank you for your help... I followed all the steps in the reference... but when I get into the game and load the save file... it still won't work... do any of you have this problem?

Which program are you using to edit players.dbf? If you're using MS Excel, perhaps there has been a corruption.

I shouldn't think so. If you're editing a saved roster, I'd recommend starting again from a backup and creating the player from within the game. If you're working with a roster file, there's no reason to add a new player through DBF editing; add him through Create-a-Player and then DBF edit as needed.
