Release Notes
- A few teams have more than 15 players under contract. As with all offseason updates, I've had to leave some players in the Free Agents. If you can't find a player on his NBA roster, check the Free Agent pool. If you have any information on players likely to make the final cut and players who are on the bubble, by all means let me know.
- I cannot stress this one strongly enough: player ratings are always a work in progress. I've gone through and taken a look at several players who were brought to my attention since the last release but I do intend to continue updating the ratings. Rookies in particular are difficult to rate as we haven't seen them play in the NBA yet, thus a certain level of guesswork is involved. Constructive criticism is much more helpful than childish insults so if you have any suggestions for the ratings, please let me know. That's one of the reasons the support forum is there.
- Having said that, please note that I do not (and will not) increase or decrease ratings simply so the overall rating looks "better". If the overall rating seems wrong however, it's likely due to some individual ratings that should be updated so by all means take a look and let me know if you spot any individual ratings (Field Goals, Offensive Awareness, Stealing etc) that need to be looked at. Once the individual ratings are accurate, the overall ratings will take care of themselves.
- Following on from that, all suggestions and corrections regarding player bio data are welcome but let's be mature about it. If I've made someone right-handed when they should be left-handed or a jersey number is wrong, please let me know. During the offseason the new numbers for players changing teams isn't always made available straight away but as soon as that information is made available, I'll update the numbers accordingly.
- Some players are still using generic faces, those will be replaced as soon as an updated face is made available. I'm pretty sure everyone has a portrait but there might be a couple of second rounders who are still without one. Again, as soon as a portrait patch is made available that will be fixed up. A reminder to anyone having trouble with the faces, please consult Faces Troubleshooting.txt (included in the zip file) for more instructions.
- The rosters contain all transactions up until the time of the release; that is, after all, the whole point of a roster update! Before reporting any "missing" transactions, check the date against the patch's release date. If it happens after the patch comes out, it will have to wait until the next update is released.
- The patch has been checked thoroughly and I've yet to encounter any crashes. If you've also got SUM installed, be sure to grab Pdub's tattoo fix. If you're having problems with a specific team, check the art files you've got installed. You might also want to check out Pdub's 2X crashes fix tutorial for more information on certain art updates causing problems and how you can fix them.
I think that's about it. I hope you enjoy the latest update.

As I said in the release notes, the patch has been tested thoroughly and I have yet to encounter any crashes. There weren't any major issues with v1.11 either; check the release notes for additional troubleshooting information.

Yes, I made a note of those corrections and was sure to fix them in v1.12.

Brevin Knight was released by the Bobcats and has not yet signed with a new team. I'm waiting to see what will happen with Navarro as his rights have been traded but he hasn't officially signed with the Grizzlies as yet.

Install the SUM tattoo fix or check the art files you've got installed for the Suns and Sixers. If you're using a lot of 2X detail patches, you might want to try
this fix.

I like the roster patch although I do erase the 2 other saves, hehe. thanks by the way.
any how..
peitrus hasn't agred on any terms yet with GS so I guess he should also be placed in fa pool like james posey..
I think some starting lineup are off but since the new season hasn't started yet, we couldn't tell who would start.. like cavs.. I still use the playoff lineup (hughes, pavlovic, james, gooden and Z). but this doesn;t bother me though, I can change it to whatever i like.
Again Thank you. looking forward for v1.13

I'll see what I can do about the size of the download in future updates.
I'd heard rumblings about that but when I checked the Clippers' roster on NBA.com he wasn't on there (and in fact still isn't listed as being on their roster). So I blame NBA.com.

I've been considering that. The only reason I've moved Posey to the Free Agents is that I needed the space on the Heat's roster. For the moment I'll wait and see what happens with Pietrus.

I didn't forget, I just don't have an updated face for him yet. As soon as one is made available I'll fix that up.

They oficially signed him today

In that case, I'll be sure to place him on the Clippers' roster in the next update.

If I'm not mistaken, Posey is a UFA (unrestricted free agent), while Pietrus is an RFA (restricted), and the Warriors have tendered him a qualifying offer. Therefor, if no one else signs Pietrus to an offer sheet, which the Warriors could match, he would remain on Golden State's roster. With Posey, the Heat have absolutely no claim to his rights whatsoever. Therefor, it actually makes perfect sense to have Pietrus on GS, as he is still part of their team, while Posey is in the free agent pool, as no team has him under contract.

That's a good point. I'd certainly prefer to keep Pietrus on the Warriors' roster for the moment.
